The Sukhothai Bangkok

Absolutely wonderful experience. An oasis in the heart of Bangkok, the attentive staff and incredible service as well as beautiful rooms make this a special place to stay. The concierge is a genius at tickets to events and organising day trips. Thanks especially to Khun Eve and her team and Khun Nutch and her team for making it so special for our family. Can't wait to come back!

Stayed for a week on a tiring business trip and retreated to the amazing Sukhothai each night to restore and replenish in such a fabulous setting.
The Club Lounge team are fantastic - Gift, Ploy , Bank, Breeze and the team go above and beyond to make your stay a true joy !
Location is perfect to access Bangkok and the business districts as well as get out to factories and airport .
Only criticism is the lack of restaurants to eat in the hotel. You cant eat Thai food every night sadly !

This opulent hotel, situated in Bangkok's vibrant financial district, is presently undergoing extensive renovations. Anticipate a truly breathtaking transformation that will elevate your stay to new heights of luxury and comfort. Really looking forward to experience the end result.

The grounds of this hotel was quite beautiful but i am surprised that no one mentioned that the location is rather poor, as compared to other hotels in Bangkok. Nearest BTS station is at least a 12 min walk and there aren't much going on in the area. It is alright if you are on a business trip (and your office is nearby). As a tourist, I will find this location rather inconvenient.

The room given was quite large and on the quiet side (which I appreciated). The decor was a little dated and run-down. In addition, the TV does not always work. The wooden sliding boards were used to block out the light (from the windows) do not close properly so sunlight will be seeping in early morning, which makes it difficult to have a proper sleep as I prefer a very dark room. In addition, the pillows were very flat, even using 3 does not help.

We had both breakfast and lunch in the hotel during our meeting days. Breakfast was okay, not a big selection but quality of food was decent. However lunch was not that good. The risotto was half raw and the fish served was a little fishy. Had pad thai for room service and that was not bad.

Service wise, everyone I encountered were polite and helpful. Check in / out process was also very smooth.

Love my stay at Sukhothai Bangkok. Was fortunate enough to spend my birthday at the establishment, and upon arrival, was given a complimentary room upgrade due to insufficient rooms available. The staff was very courteous and offered a birthday cake for me even when they don’t have to. Breakfast was extraordinary and they have a variety of choices including Thosai, fresh coconut, honeycombs, cold soba and 20 other drink types of drinks to choose room. Will definitely consider staying again when I am back in Bangkok.

Absolutely everything is perfect.They have made an oasis in the heart of Bangkok and you feel transported away of the hustle and bustle of the city to a green paradise
We were upgraded to a suite and were able to check in very early (9 am) complimentary which was very nice.
The pool and fitness studio are top notch as is the food , we took advantage of in room dining throughout the stay and everything was delicious.

Only a couple of minor things I would recommend reviewing:
- Closing of the windows to ensure that there’s no noise from the outside ( there was some car minor noises )
- Soundproofing of other rooms, once again not major as it was just some tiny noises.
- New tv system a little bit difficult to turn it off at night , the control remote lost pairing and we needed to call staff to help us.

All in all a 10/10

I want to give a review rating of 10 stars.

- Once as a solo trip. And I went one more time with my family. Next time I go to Bangkok, I will stay here again.

- A hotel that reflects 'Thailand' well. The friendliest staff in the world. A perfect blend of tradition and modernity.

- Well-decorated interior. The site is quite large and everything is well decorated. Just hold the camera and press the shutter to become a masterpiece.

- I stayed in two rooms, the Club Room and the Club Balcony, but the rooms are so large that if I take a picture and upload it, it will be rather confusing, so I won't post it. One thing is for sure, the interior is really awesome.

- There must be a lot of people who are worried about the rainy season during the trip. However, even the rain becomes a work of art here.

- I also bought a lot of souvenirs.
