Had highlights last week. It was lovely I loved it. Very nice ladies there.

On a recent visit to the store, the boss asked an assistant to cut my hair and then she left quietly. After five minutes, the hairdresser finished cutting and suggested me to leave with wet hair, I insisted to blow but she only did 20% dry. When I returned home, I found that my original beautiful hairstyle was compeletly damaged with a very rough and ugly shape. The next day, I went back to the store to asked the boss to check and repair it. The boss almost scolded me out in front of a few clients. But I saw their reviews on Google is good. is it truth？ ...???

I have to comment, this barbershop has serious racism, when people of colour come to the store, the hairdressers say there is no time and need to make an appointment. And when a white person arrives at the store, they'll even make a person of colour wait for a few hours when she's already there. The more humiliating is that the working hours of treatment for different races are 10 minutes and 1 hour of difference, although the fees they were charged are the same. My many friends and I both experienced similar treatment, along with verbal insults and rude movement during the service. It's hard to imagine that there is still so obvious racial discrimination in Lewisham , such an area with large of mixed population. We'll never go to Tom Boyz Hair again, remembering unarguable insulting each time...

My mum went last week for the 1st time & asked for a trim as well as a wash & blowdry, her hair is horrendous, looks like a child has taken a pair of scissors to it, not enough hair now at the back to get a brush round it, this upset my mum very much & her family
