Today I experienced for the first time a face and skin treatment "Glow up & Go facial". It was a wonderful 30 mins of relaxation and I love how my skin felt and looked.
Nice environment and the people who work are super kind.

Always so welcoming and super high quality. They are so quick and kind with the waxes, over before you know it. And the manicure if the highest quality I have experienced. I’ve been loyal for five years now, once you come, you won’t want to go anywhere else.
Had my lashes and brows done by Farhana, best lashes yet. She’s the most lovely person will always be a regular client .

I have been a member at this gym for well over a year now and have to agree with some of the recent reviews around overcrowding and the service not matching the price point.
Over recent weeks it has been extremely difficult to get a full work out in because of how busy it is! I avoid peak times and even then the free weights room is packed. On a recent occasion I attended and there were two exercise classes happening at once, one in the usual studio but then also one on the main gym floor, utilising all of the lower weighted dumbbells that are already in high demand and blocking a lot of equipment.
In my experience some trainers in the gym will often use 2/3 pieces of equipment at a time with their clients which doesn’t help.
The main reception staff have always been friendly and helpful. However for the price of the membership you should be able to consistently have space and access to the equipment. I suspect it’s an oversubscription issue as this isn’t just a problem during the evening and weekends.

I just don’t have words for the amazing pedicure I’ve had in the Brazilian Soul Beauty ☺️ My feet were amazing at the end: perfect nails, perfect skin and the massage: OH MY GOD it is soooo good, I felt so relaxed 🧘🏼♀️✨

Got a much needed pedicure and it was one of my best experiences ever. For starters the environment was so relaxing and comfortable, everyone was super nice. Then there was a massage chair which was amazing!
My nails turned out so beautiful and my feet ended up so relaxed I could barely walk! 😅

Dania did a fantastic job with my nails once again, flawless with no chips after almost a month. There was a minor issue with the gel on my toes after my appointment. But I was seen quickly the next day and the issue was fixed in less than 5 mins. Lovely service! =)
I was a member but I had to cancel because I moved. However, I still commute for my training sessions with Bernard. Thanks to him, I believe that sky is the limit when it comes to growth and more precisely physical strength. It is hard to explain Ben’s coaching style in words, but hopefully this one may illustrate a part of his work: he detects the imperfections in the movement pattern (squat for instance) which are likely to be responsible for a pain or a plateau, he makes sure that the body makes the correct adjustments and then growth becomes the norm ! Thanks Ben 🙏
I’ve been here a few times to have my brows done now and they always do an amazing job. Very good attention to detail and never take too much off. The wax doesn’t hurt as much as other places I’ve been and the lash dye doesn’t sting. I’ve had a pedicure here before as well and it was great. I got the more expensive one with a massage and it was well worth it for a bit of a treat. The massage was good and long and my toes were painted perfectly. Staff are always friendly.
It was my first time going to this salon I was very scared to have my hair cut as I’ve had bad experiences in the past. I am glad I came. I love my hair cut the lady listened to exactly what I wanted. Lovely lady very friendly and welcoming also affordable service which is a bonus. Definitely recommend.
I advise you to steer clear of Fitness First, which engages in some shady business practices and whose customer service team is only available via email and then takes days to respond to queries or complaints. In my instance, the company breached their contractual agreement by levying a charge a day earlier than my contract stipulated. They did not deny this, but were unwilling to resolve it. Take your business elsewhere, or risk similar treatment.

I was hoping for the price point and facilities available to have a better experience on my trial day here. The facilities seem good and there is everything you need despite being very overcrowded and a little run down in some areas. However the clientele in the gym really let the place down and have put me off getting a full membership. The pool area, sauna and steam room were chaos to put it lightly. The men in the gym are extremely rowdy and disrespectful of the fact that it’s a space for everyone to use, it almost felt like a kids club but with grown men. They were in and out of the sauna and steam room non stop, talking extremely loudly, shouting at times, taking phone calls and just generally treating the place like their own social club. It’s really disappointing that the culture within the gym hasn’t been set up to be a place where people can come and work out and enjoy the facilities in peace. Not worth the membership price I’d sooner go back to a budget gym where people respect the space and the people around them. Unfortunately some of the staff only seemed to egg the behaviour on and multiple people left the area visibly frustrated while I was there too.
Lovely experience got classics done, was my first time doing my eyelashes absolutely loved them. The whole experience was so comfortable and the eyelashes were stunning. If there was 10 starts they would definitely get 10
I’m always super happy with the quality and finish of my nails! The skill and professionalism is unmatched! I’ve not been to any other salon that focuses so much on the little details. They are always friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is unmatched. Who knew getting your nails done could be so therapeutic and zen. I always go for the BIAB manicure as it ensures I can grow my own nails to a desired length without breakage. Last note, the colour selection is just *chef’s kiss* and they do chrome effects which I just can’t get enough of.

Lovely experience❤️First time here at Beautex Beaty and I’m in love with the outcome. My lashes were exactly how I wanted it and my eye brows as well. Will surely come back. It’s definitely a 5star for me. Keep up the good work 👍
I asked for a dry cut long layers, even if it’s a dry cut, you still have to wet the hair by spraying water especially when cutting layers so the cuts are clean. I was charged £35 for only cutting the ends of my hair. There is no dimension in my hair at all. Then the hair dresser straightened my hair when I didn’t ask for it. There’s barely any layers. I didn’t ask for styling with a straightener (I wear a hijab, no need for straightening) I just asked for the cut. Paying £35 is ridiculous if you didn’t even do it correctly. There were 2 women there, 1 doing my hair and 1 was translating what I had requested but even then she got it wrong. The hair dresser then proceeded to ask me if I wanted more done? More done of what? I had mentioned I didn’t want to lose my length, I just wanted long layers to thin out my hair as I have really thick hair. If I didn’t stop the cut there, I’m pretty sure she would’ve cut more off instead of thinning out. Very disappointed, not going back.
It has the bones of a good gym but equipment is out of order and selections are limited. For example, there is only one flat bench for an entire gym, and the leg extension machine was broken for many weeks on end. The pool is lovely and recently refurbished, but it hardly makes up for the inability to get on specific pieces of equipment. For £70 a month I would expect better.
The overall ambiance at Fitness First is commendable, and the access to both the sauna and steam room facilities enhances the experience. However, it’s crucial to address a recurring issue with a male member over 40 who continues to use exfoliating gloves inappropriately, specifically in the sauna and steam room areas. I’ve heard other members expressing similar concerns, indicating that this problem is affecting multiple individuals. Despite previous complaints, the issue persists, creating discomfort for members and impacting the quality of the facility. I hope the management takes proactive measures to promptly resolve this matter, ensuring a pleasant and sanitary environment for all members in the sauna and steam room areas.

Very poor cut ! Cut was a complete mess, not even at all. Took way more off than requested. Hair was just below the shoulders I asked for 2-3 inches off. My hair is currently just below the ears.
I had to go to another hairdresser to get it sorted due to the array of different sections being different lengths. Absolute mess! The other hairdresser described it as one of the worst cuts they had ever seen and asked if it had been done by a student hairdresser.
My advice would be avoid at all costs !

She was very lovely towards me and made me feel comfortable with the experience. She did not rush me nor critique me for my hair. She is well experienced and is worth the price you pay for :)

I struggle finding hairdressers which can cut curly hair properly but Peter left me speechless. He turned my long boring curly hair into something out of a magazine for only £34. I asked for layers and a bit of a fringe and this is what I got. 10/10 definitely going again.
I have quite thin hair, very hard to trim and even harder to style, over the years there has only even been one stylist who has done it justice… and then I was introduced to Pete! The only other person who can cut and style my hair and beard to perfection. You are not getting a template trim here, he is a stylist, and will give you a bespoke cut and style to suit your person. Ontop of that, the atmosphere with all the staff is great, and the interior of this place is gorgeous - the whole experience is very relaxing and enjoyable. I’ve found my go-to - so give these guys a go, and I am confident you will find yours too!

I am very impressed with the service at beauty saloon. I am a beauty expert, and I have worked at many beauty salons, but the services of this salon are great. There are many beauty products and the quality is very good. It is very clean, and the environment is very comfortable.

On a recent visit to the store, the boss asked an assistant to cut my hair and then she left quietly. After five minutes, the hairdresser finished cutting and suggested me to leave with wet hair, I insisted to blow but she only did 20% dry. When I returned home, I found that my original beautiful hairstyle was compeletly damaged with a very rough and ugly shape. The next day, I went back to the store to asked the boss to check and repair it. The boss almost scolded me out in front of a few clients. But I saw their reviews on Google is good. is it truth？ ...???
I have to comment, this barbershop has serious racism, when people of colour come to the store, the hairdressers say there is no time and need to make an appointment. And when a white person arrives at the store, they'll even make a person of colour wait for a few hours when she's already there. The more humiliating is that the working hours of treatment for different races are 10 minutes and 1 hour of difference, although the fees they were charged are the same. My many friends and I both experienced similar treatment, along with verbal insults and rude movement during the service. It's hard to imagine that there is still so obvious racial discrimination in Lewisham , such an area with large of mixed population. We'll never go to Tom Boyz Hair again, remembering unarguable insulting each time...

My mum went last week for the 1st time & asked for a trim as well as a wash & blowdry, her hair is horrendous, looks like a child has taken a pair of scissors to it, not enough hair now at the back to get a brush round it, this upset my mum very much & her family
Had my root colour done here today by a guy (owner/manager?). I got in quickly, he did a fantastic job, reasonable price same as on Website & didn’t try to up-sell extras. It was a lovely tranquil environment so a great experience all round. Highly recommended!

I got a Keratin treatment here and they completely burnt my hair. I went back for them to try and fix it, to which they admitted they had burnt all of my ends, including half way up my head, attempted to repair by cutting it, which they did terribly, and then refused to give me a refund. Stay away.

Matteo was truly professional, confident in his cutting techniques and really understood my hair and which style would look best. He’s one of few hairdressers that take the time to wash my thick hair properly and actually comb it – something you’d think was standard! I came to him last-minute and he made a special effort to fit me in after another hairdresser had butchered my hair, leaving it noticeably uneven. Matteo used some scissor tricks I’d never seen before! I had only used this salon once before and had a great experience with Bianca too but after this time, there’s no doubt that I will be visiting each time I need a trim. I feel like a different person now – thanks again Matteo!

I’ve been coming here for just about 6 years. Peter is the best hair dresser in town. He’s incredibly attentive and detail oriented. On top of that he’s engaging and funny and a pleasure to be around. You won’t be disappointed going here, trust me. Highly recommend this place.

Booked in for a facial at a 'special rate' but just received a call to explain that the 'special rate' is for new customers only, therefore I would have to pay full price as I had been there a few times over previous years - surely you should be rewarding the customers that do keep returning to you not turning away their business - this is called loyalty? I have booked elsewhere now for my lunchtime facial and actually got a better rate. Very disappointed by body essentials and sadly my few times over previous years will be my last.

A small hairdresser on South Lambeth Rd; walking distance from Stockwell Station. Lovely staff. My blow dry was excellent; and at £12 surely the best value in London? I booked through Treatwell this time because of the convenience and not knowing hairdressers in this location: will book directly next time.
I went to the salon to get gel nails extensions. My finger has been bleeding because of the nail electric polisher buffer, the nail did not last for more than 1 day before it broke. Unless you are portuguese, you will not be welcome. The ladies do not speak english and they do not even try to communicate with you or understand you. They have been extremely unpleasant. The woman who was doing my nails did not stop sighing and trying to hurt me with the buffer. Overall, extremely bad experience. There is a lot better out there for the same price (30 GBP). They do not even deserve one star. Completely upset and disappointed. I never leave bad comments, but trust me, this experience has been the worst. I have tried to call them to ask if this can be fixed but I got screamed at.
The quality of the work is terrible. I got my nails done and honestly it does not seem professional at all. The staff could not have been worse, the two portuguese ladies are extremely rude and they have been shouting and saying bad comments the whole time. Not pleased at all.

I have been going to Attractions for several years now. They are professional, helpful especially with ideas of haircuts. I really like them too as this is a very family friendly place. I have often had my young son with me and they are so good with him too.

Went to Body Essentials yesterday and am most impressed. Sarah did a very good job of highlighting and cutting my hair. The colour is exactly what I wanted - nicely textured blonde with no yellow tones. She listened carefully to what I wanted and then at the end checked each area asking if I was satisfied or where I would like to tweak anything. Excellent attention to detail and customer service. Would definitely recommend to friends

I love this salon, I've always had a great hair cut from here and never been disappointed. The staff are always friendly and strive to give you exactly the kind of style you want. Called in recently without an appointment, on the off chance and they were able to fit me in. Prices are very reasonable too, compared to other local salons, where the cut hasn't been as good as Attractions. Lovely to have such a great place on my door step!
