Great for a half way stop between Freshwater East and Barafundle Bay. Toilets and cafe here.

Loved their sustainability. Great pit stop before or after walking to one of Wales’s most beautiful beaches.

Pretty place to have a packed lunch or eat at the National Trust cafe. It has some shaded areas so good if you have a dog with you. It is one place you can link up as part of a walk along the Pembroke Coastal path. Compared to other parts of Stackpole and the costal path it isnt as stunning. But still nice as part of a longer walk.

After driving on a narrow "goat track" for a while I though we would find no one here but it was quite busy, and I can see why. The walk along the coast was fantastic and worth the effort to come here. Great cliffs, great beaches, great views. And after your walk, grab a coffee and a bite to eat from the Cafe. Very helpful NT people as well, so put Stackpole on your travel itinerary and I reckon you could make it a whole day there. We wanted to go a little further along the coast but there's a military firing range there and we couldn't get to where we wanted to (not sure if the roads were closed just on the day and open otherwise) but Stackpole area was enough for one day anyway. Just wonder what it would be like if it was a weekend or busy summer season? I'd imagine you would have to do a lot of reversing to pass oncoming traffic. :)

Beautiful place, national trust, cafe on site, toilets, easy to get to Barafundle beach from here

The TLDR:
- Short walk from Quey carpark to Barafundle Bay.
- Gorgeous views of both land and sea.
- Dog Friendly.
- Steep steps and often boggy terrain, likely to be difficult for those with mobility issues, and/or families with pushchairs.
Visited on a rainy day in March. Easy walk from the car park to the bay, through some fields with stunning views. The beach itself can be reached via a decent amount of steps. I loved it. It was large, great for the dogs and had some fantastic views. The walk continues (uphill) on the other side of the bay, offering more scenic views. Great way to spend a few hours.

Parked here and did the circular walk past Barafundle Bay. Stunning and varied walk and was great to grab a slice of cake from the cafe on our return.
They could accept cards in the office but if that's closed you may need cash as the machines don't accept cards and phone signal is not reliable.
