Sushi Corner Sterrebeek

Found this place after a long trip on a Monday evening. Pretty high rated and I thought I will give it a try with the familly. Can't say that I was impressed. Took the Combo Huis, 1 gyoza portion and 2 Miso soups. The gyoza was cold and not fried. First restaurant where chiken gyoza is served cold and not fried. Maybe this is the style, but not my taste, I put it quickly in the pan and it was good after a bit of frying. The Miso soup was pretty tasteless, no tofu, only some breadcrumbs. I could be wrong but normally Miso soup should have tofu. Again, could be that this is the way they serve it here. On the main plate, the plateu with various sushis, I wasn't impressed. A lot of rice for each item but not a lot of fish. Fish quality not as fresh as expected, but decent quality. Overall my experience was average and unexpected judging by the very high ratings. Could be that I was unlucky on a Monday. Maybe will try again

A take out sushi place. The sushi is great, fresh, cheap, and quick. My kids do great things during the week just to earn a sushi dinner on Sundays from here!

We’ve tried this place three times. First two were great and we were surprised to find such a quality place outside of Brussels. Unfortunately, last time fish was not as fresh as first two times and didn’t taste great.
Their sushi are “simple” and straight forward, but tasty - when they fresh.

I really like this "corner". Small, friendly and the quality is top.
Compared to others, we found here the best sushi 🍣 in region.

We love both the client service, as well as the food! The Sushi Corner has been our go-to for over two years and when they go on vacation, we miss them because nothing compares. They’re just great.

One of the best sushi restaurants (been going here for the past 4 years). The wait is more or less 15 minutes depending on what you ordered. Sushi here tastes perfect!!

We stopped here on Monday night, on the way back to England.
We had a menu 3 and menu 6, edamame, Moso soup.
I was surprised by the use of Basil and cabbage leaves in one of the rolls.
