Mathnasium

Mathnasium has been amazing for our family. We have been sending both kids for about a year, ages seven and ten. They go at the same time each week and the owner Derek has been incredible to work with. He works around our hectic sports schedule, replies back within hour of sending him an email about switching times. Overall we absolutely love it here!

Mathnasium is a great learning enviornment and the staff there are great. Their teaching methods are great and they do it quick and efficiently. :)

We couldn't be more pleased with Derek and his team's exceptional work with our 12 and 16-year-old sons. They've truly reignited a passion for math in our kids, making learning enjoyable and engaging again. Highly recommend!

Absolutely helped me with my math! I feel like I'm going to get an A+ this year on everything except gym and cursive and French. I am happy to inform you that this place makes math a good thing for me! Using gamification they helped me with math. I'm pretty sure I'm going to pass a quiz I have this Friday! I have the best time there.

My daughter loves going here. Derek and his team are amazing and very accommodating. My daughter’s understanding and love for maths have grown tremendously. Her instructors are very polite and patient with her. At Mathnasium, they use creative ways to make lessons more fun and engaging which my daughter really enjoys. I would definitely recommend Mathnasium to anyone looking for maths classes for their children.

I am really happy with our decision to join Mathnasium! They were able to change my daughter's "I hate math" into "Math is so easy" statements in less than a month time! From her own words: "Our school teachers never explain the concept behind any of it, they just told us to memorize how to do equations or calculations. And this was my main challenge. I didn't even know that there was a reason/logic behind certain things in math". Another great thing is a flexibility we have with attendance. Derek is always so accommodating and understanding with rescheduling classes when we have a need for it! All and all - we are very happy!

Our son is having a great time with Derek and his team! He was hesitant at first, however with helping get his confidence up, he seems quite pleased to be attending all sessions. Academically he's doing much better in the subject and we wish we would have done this awhile ago for him! Thank you Derek and team for all your doing! Our son is really enjoying.

Derek and his team have been great with my daughter. She was literally "freaking out" when starting grade 9 Math in Sept 2020. After literally missing Grade 8 Math due to the school shut down during Covid, she felt lost, desperation, and frustrated. As I was comforting her and telling her that it will be ok we'll find a way to get through it, lo and behold and commercial came on the radio about Mathnasium. I didn't hesitate. I called them right away and within a few hours, I got a call from Derek, we arranged to meet the next day. He explained everything to my daughter, made her feel more at ease and believe it when I say, EXCITED to start. We enrolled her and now she absolutely LOVES Math. She looks forward to working with her mentor AND she passed her Grade 9 Math. If it were not for Derek and his team, my daughter would not have passed, and gain so much confidence as she has. Even though, she is done with Grade 9 Math, I'm keeping her enrolled because I see how well she is progressing and getting her prepared for Grade 10 and forward. Derek, also provides a monthy progress report so I can see what she has been working on and accomplished. It's amazing in just a few months, how much she has done. Thank you Derek and your team for all you do for our kids. You are all a blessing.
