Momiji Japanese Restaurant

Very glad I tried this place out! The sushi is good quality and fresh (I would also recommend the tempura- it was great). The staff are nice and the service was very quick. And they don't skimp out! The sashimi pieces were surprisingly thick, making it all good value for the price.

The place was clean and simple and presentation was very nice, server was nice too. But the salad dressing was actually not good at all, no flavour. And they cut the salmon sushi the wrong way, the fat lines were lengthwise on the salmon sushi which makes it harder to eat (aka cut wrong !) But the food was very fresh. Tempura food contents were lovely but the breading was a bit crispy. I'm just picky when it comes to sushi 😉. The rolls had nice flavour... I just prefer the small rolls a bit smaller. But that's me not them... Anyway likely first and last time I'd go there... There's too many other great sushi restaurants around.

We ordered the Sushi Sashimi Combo and the Sushi Sashimi Bento Combo off the Lunch Special menu. At $21 each, they are a great value. Super fresh and so much food that you won't leave there feeling hungry.
I've been there in the past for dinner with some friends and that is how we found out about this place. Dinner was equally as good.
You'll enjoy yourself as well.

I had a wonderful experience here. The food is so fresh and very delicious. The taste is very authentic and makes you feel like you are in Japan. I love the plating and the colorful look of the presentation of the dishes. Not to mention, the service is very nice and the owner is a very kind and welcoming person. The atmosphere is cosy and again makes you feel like you’re in Japan. I ordered the Love Boat and Tempura Odon with seafood. It was spectacular! Only thing I didn’t like was how this restaurant is very expensive. I wish I can come back weekly haha. My suggestion is to add pictures on the menu because it is hard to tell what I am ordering as I am not 100% familiar with everything and it would be nice to try more of your delicious food! I am happy to found this place and grateful it is nearby.

Fresh & Exceptional

Momiji is an intimate space that serves freshly prepared, authentic Japanese dishes. Our Love Boat (an assortment of sashimi & rolls ) was prepared with care and attention to detail. Everything on the platter was fresh, and tasty and looked so pretty! The waitress was friendly and offered appropriate appetizer suggestions to further enhance our dining experience. This is our family’s preferred sushi-spot and we highly recommend that you give this place a try. You will not be disappointed.
