Don’t support this demented man. I drove with family for 45 minutes to rent a kayak, got there 45 minutes before closing time but he was closed. I approach him to ask for the closing time to come back and he became irrational. he was telling me to stand back, made a finger gun gesture, and rambled some more. Then he turned all racist with me asking me if i spoke English, after we already had a couple of minute conversation. I wouldn’t wanna be close to him if he had a real gun

We had a great time kayaking through the Piermont marsh today. The owners and operators, Captain Bill and his lovely daughter Carolyn were welcoming, friendly and super helpful. They explained everything we needed to know about kayaking safely through the marsh. The kayaks and equipment were in good shape. Overall, such a great little kayak rental family business. Highly recommended by our entire family! To help future visitors, FYI, there was plenty of street parking on Piermont Ave close to the entrance.

I have come here many times and I have referred many people here and I have previously always had a good experience. Today I came with my children and grandchildren and I made a one line joke , that we should put the kids together in a boat and the adults in another. The guy went nuts, called me insane and and would not let us on the boats. We left w/o a fuss but I will never come back again.

Kids all ready to go and over a very small misunderstanding that we apologized immediately for, owner flipped out on us, yelled and kicked us out. Kids did not need to experience this nonsense, huge over reaction. Definitely off his meds. Be aware! He also lied about being deaf.

Incredible discovery. Probably Rockland's best kept secret. So friendly and chilled. What a great way to spend a nice Sunday enjoying another dimension of G-d's lovely world

Tiny family run place with kayaks and canoes. Been coming here for years. Located at the edge of the Tallman Mountain State Park marsh, just south of Piermont. We always take a two-man kayak out through the marsh canals, into the Hudson, then south and either into the marsh inlet that winds through the marsh, or across the river towards Hastings. Tall reeds, bird nests, calm waters in the marsh. Then waves and tides in the Hudson. Up close and personal with river boats, steam paddle boats, Metro North trains, like toys, passing on the east bank. It's a beautiful place.
