Some more popular restaurants are better than this one. But if you want to change your taste occasionally, you may try it. But don't expect the waiter to be nice to you.

Always a challenge going for Chinese New year fixed price banquet style. The kitchen has to churn out a lot of the same dishes in a short period of time and sometimes the results show in the assembly line approach in the kitchen.

Generally the food was pretty good and I'd consider coming back at another time to get a better take on what they can do. Service was pretty good despite how busy it was

Have you ever experienced a near perfect wedding banquet? My wife and I certainly did with the Jade Seafood Restaurant in Richmond. The restaurant was extremely accommodating for my Son and DiL's "extra-ordinary" decorative idea in the dinning room. The Chef and the kitchen staff turned some typical banquet foods into a gourmet food experiences for our guests. The crab claws; fish maw soup and the most difficult steam rock rod being served under the stress of banquet were prepared and presented at the table to the perfection. Also kudos to the dinning room staff who provided professional and yet attentive service to all our guests, including a couple of toddlers. The only not-so-perfect part was with the City of Richmond. Some of the guests received parking tickets ☹ while parking on the city street earlier in the evening. If you are looking for an ideal venue with good food and excellent service for a special occasion party, please look for Vincent, the General Manager. We certainly glad we did!

I enjoyed my meal at The Jade Seafood Restaurant. We had a private room, so the service was probably better than normal service. The food was fresh and delicious, and the staff was very helpful. It can get quite busy during peak times, but parking is impossible to find in the parking lot, so you probably have to go across the street and pay $3 to park. My favorites were the dumplings and peking duck.

Food is really good. We booked a room, and ordered two king crab dinner sets for 22 persons with additional spot prawn dish. Every dish was cooked with the right texture and taste. Very well done. I enjoyed the prawns, crab, and fish the most. Portions are really big. Enough for 32 persons I think. Service was great too.

Clean restaurant with English menu. Washroom was a bit dirty, floor near urinal was so wet with urine. Table itself was clean but one spoon had leftover food stuck on it. The food itself was good, but on the salty side. For dinner they handed out the most basic red bean dessert, which was disappointing since we ordered the more expensive, Head Chef Set Menu 'A' for 10 $798. While the food taste was average at best, the portions were huge and generous. Just be warned, everything was too salty, lobster, clay pot chicken, fish.

Really good, tasty dim sum! The interior looked very nice and well maintained. The host that greeted us was really nice and we were seated right away. You may need to wait longer though if there are more than 2 of you. Quick service with little wait time for our food.
