Staff is very friendly and personable. They take Tex Mex to a new level. I would highly recommend everything on the menu!

Stopped by for lunch after a morning kayaking on Lady Bird Lake. What a fabulous restaurant on the water. Great vibes, good food, fantastic service: shout out to Joshua who did a great job catering to our big group with separate checks! This restaurant is highly recommended and I will certainly be back with friends!
Had a lovely time at this restaurant. Vibes are very on point, and the food even more so! Family had the Shrimp Enchilada, Pulled Pork Sandwich, and Chicken Chile Relleno, all of which were absolutely delicious.

The sunset view is beautiful across the water. However, the food and service could have been better. I ordered the fish tacos, and the Mahi Mahi was very dry. I also ordered the coconut shrimp, and it was delicious.
As for the service, the bar hadn't been wiped down and was just as sticky as the menus. I had to get my own menu and get the attention of the bartender several times. It was understandable on a busy night, but when there were only 4 people at the bar and two bartenders, I would have expected better service. More attentive, at least. Other than these few minor details, the overall atmosphere of this place is laid back and a great place to have a drink by the water.

If you want a close up water view… option for the table tops behind the outside bar…still get full service, you don’t have to be wait to be seated, and doesn’t feel as cramped as the rest of the outdoor seating. Good portions and large and delicious!
If you can’t find a parking spot, there’s more across the street. On a beautiful sunny day this place is bustling and very fun. Nothing to fancy which is great when you’re right on the lake. Awesome patio and a great area if you want to sit indoors.
Hula Hut is in Austin favorite for us. This is a great place to sit right on the lake and have some great Mexican food. They make the tortillas right there which is really cool to watch. This is another great place to take people who are not from Austin to kind of get a sense of the cool Vibes that we have here. I love that you can sit outside right on the lake and that people pull their boats right up too. Definitely a must visit if you haven't been there before!
