I have always enjoyed coming to Clarksburg. Your ciders are delicious but my complaint was the food. Very limited menu and the food was not good. The food came out so fast obviously just heated up and put on a plate. Old chef not being there made a big difference. I also expected on this hot Saturday for the Clarksburg to be packed with people which it was not. Perhaps you need to think more about the food. I also feel there should have been more appetizers to go with the flights.
Wanted to leave a 5 star rating but couldn’t find a place to do it . I have been an avid repeat customer since Clarksburg has opened. Whether it is The causal relaxation with family or the enjoyment of excellently planned events we enjoy each time we are there. I enjoy bringing family and friends to taste the great selection of Ciders and I must admit there are times I partake in the local beers
We had a great pizza here. Large selection of beer wine cider.

Everything was excellent. Cider and cider specialty cocktails were amazing and creative. Their food was so good and I highly recommend the gumbo dip. Also the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Can't wait to go back soon.
The cider here is excellent. Really interesting flavors I really love the strawberry basil. You can get gluten-free buns! They have gluten-free poutine. Which was absolutely delicious. My only issue was with the waitress waitress. The service was adequate. Not exceptional but adequate. We didn't ask for much or anything additional outside of our drinks and dinner. So we were not high maintenance diners. My partner left an 18% or 20% tip. I think it was like either $15 or $20. He just tapped one of the offerings on the machine. He felt this was an adequate tip for the service. The waitress was apparently not happy with the tip and asked us about it before we left. It was extremely uncomfortable and almost shaming. It wasn't like we left a dollar or just some pocket change. I'm not sure if we will be returning as my partner was rather bothered.
The service was good, the childrens mac and cheese was to die for even if its for kids. The margarita pizza and meatlovers pizza were wonderful. The GF crust for the pizzas were nice. Overal it was a nice experience i would reccomend it to others.
Talk about a much needed food/attraction to the Lancaster area!
Clarksburg is the right vibe this town needs to open up the door for more restaurants and breweries to be able to sling great food and equally great drinks.
The atmosphere on a warm summer day is gorgeous. Picture a nice outdoor patio overlooking a beautiful lawn filled with lawn chairs and cornhole, and an equally nice indoor seating area with a view of the tap room brewery that is happening right on site as you eat and drink. The white Buffalo painted with apples is a great cherry on top and provides a selfie/instagram worthy moment to cap off a truly delightful experience.
I can't tell what my favorite part about eating here was.. the gumbo appetizer or the absolutely incredible Mac N Cheese that tastes just as good when you heat it up the next day. Even my husband who is very anti-seafood was raving about the gumbo!
I got a flight of ciders and it was great to try an assortment of flavors produced by Clarksburg. I'm not a big drinker, but I was able to get a good taste of all the flavors here and let my husband finish the rest as I focused on my pizza.
The pizza was the only neutral part of the experience here that dropped the review from 5 to a 4 star. I ordered the Margherita that had fresh tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella. It got pretty watery from the tomatoes, but it was still delicious, albeit quite a bit messy. This won't stop me from giving this another try for dinner, though!
One thing to note is that because it's been such a nice addition to the Lancaster area, you should absolutely make a reservation to get in. Seating will be even more limited when the weather changes, and it's pretty obvious living in this area to see what a huge hit it is, so plan ahead!
