Seriously the best sushi I’ve ever had and probably will ever have. I love that it is at an affordable price without sacrificing quality. The service was amazing, the chef and waitress were so kind and helpful. The chef was funny and I learned a lot about the types of fish we were eating. A birthday meal well spent!

I am very lucky because this is my first omakase in Canada. All the sushi was soft and chewy and melted in my mouth. In particular, the odoro, smoked salmon, shrimp, eel, and even the separately added uni were really delicious. It may have been more delicious because it was the first time in almost half a year that I had sushi other than salmon or tuna. I was very satisfied overall. I also had peach sake and it was really good.

I'm glad I had my first omakase at Kaito Sushi! All of the sushi I had were delicious and so fresh. The chef was friendly and was very open to answer questions about the food he was serving. Also, I tried their yuzu and peach sake - I definitely recommend the yuzu sake (I love yuzu!). It is a little pricey, but it is worth it! I am including pictures of my top 3 favourites (it was hard to choose): lean tuna (1st pic), medium fat tuna (2nd pic), and fatty tuna (3rd pic).

P.S. You can order additional sushi at the end of the omakase. Just ask the chef!

My second Omakase experience, and my partner's first! Overall we had a great time. We found the experience very relaxing as they have soothing music playing in the background, and the chef was very meticulous with his movements. Includes some favourites like chuutoro and otoro, as well as some nice touches like freshly hickory-smoked salmon. The hojicha and ruby rose green teas were nice to have with it as well.

As far as value for money goes, I do think this is decent value for money. For two people and tea, after tax and tip it came out to about $220.

Would recommend trying for sure, nice "entry-level" Omakase in my opinion for those that haven't tried one before!

Had an amazing experience at Kaito Sushi. I highly recommend for all sushi lovers to try the omakase at Kaito. It was such an intimate experience and really creates a mindful eating experience where every bit is savoured. It was our first omakase and I’m glad we had it at Kaito. The sushi was so fresh and the fish melted in our mouths. Our favourites were the smoked salmon, tuna and eel however we loved everything served to us! High quality ingredients were used in every course. I also had the rose tea which was so fragrant. The chef was very knowledgeable and friendly. Protip: the restaurant only takes reservations so book well ahead of time! Weekends may book up over a month in advance so plan accordingly. Also AMEX is not accepted

Omakase here was tasty and affordable! It’s an intimate experience with a max of 8 guests. There was a good variety of fish and the chef was knowledgeable. If you love sushi, I would recommend giving it a try.
