Pretty good for an airline, especially since you get treated like cattle so much of the time. They have personality and generally very good customer service.

Love flying with Southwest!!!

•Always on time
•Crew members are so nice and welcoming
•Provide drinks and snacks for free (you can buy alcohol as well)
•It’s so so convenient that you are allowed to check in 2-50 lbs luggage, 1 carry on and 1 personal item.
•I have a 4 y/o, and it’s amazing that you can board after group A and before group at no extra cost.

After 20+ years of flyng Southwest religiously I now know why everyone had been complaining the last several years. I guess I just got lucky until now. I've now gotten the true SWA experience on darn near every flight this year. Rude gate attendants, 8+ hour "delays" and lost luggage. Customer service? Nah, just people who are super annoyed that you are bugging them. ~1 Million miles that I'll be unloading on someone willing to put up with with terrible customer service and flight management.

Unfortunately my flight was diverted due to wing flaps not fully extending. Had to go to a longer runway in order to stop the plane. Waited 25 minutes for brakes to cool. They did get me on another plane to go to my destination was about 3 hours late.

Had a great experience with Spurhwest. The check-in ceosk makes it very simple if you are checking in bags. Why wouldn't you. They allow 2 free for every passenger. No other airline offers that, and the prices were still better than everyone else. All the baggage people and attendants were extremely friendly and helpful. If you do like to have a carry-on and need to stow it above, it would probably be helpful to pay the extra to be one of the first ones to board. The flights are full.
They do offer in-flight Wifi for free, but ours was not working. I really can't complain about it since I wasn't paying for it.
Our flight was smooth, they gave you free drinks and snacks. All in all, wonderful experience.
