Palmi Korean BBQ

We get the all you can eat but was not full at all. Food is mediocre, the thing is they’re grill plate is not even hot enough, u gotta grill the thin slice beef for at least 10 minutes, shrimps and mini octopus for at least 20 minutes in order to get it well-cooked. But they have a rule that we can only order stuff within two hours, after that we can’t get any. I don’t understand how I’m gonna eat enough if I gotta wait at least 10-20 minutes to get a bite. And the staff didn’t tell us at all ab this rule when we’re ordering, and there’s no such indicate on the menu too. Idk if they make the grill plate not hot enough on purpose so we can’t order that much within two hours, and they should’ve tell us at first ab the rules.

Bad service and the waitress doesn’t even know what promotion they have right now. The sign outside show “buy 3 get the 4th FREE!” But when we get in and ask for that the waitress said we don’t have the promotion and we showed her the picture of the sign then she went out and said “I don’t think so” and she let us order another combo instead. We ended up leaving the restaurant and having bad mood for dinner. We went to this Palmi BBQ on Monday and we went directly for the promotion but we ended up having nothing. Please well-educate all the servers know what kind of promotion you have, otherwise don’t put the sign!

Super understaffed, staff don’t talk to you, turned off our burner without a word as a sign for us to stop having all you can eat. I’m just trying to get my protein in for the week

My review is on the restaurant and staff. The place was dirty, so was the sitting and table and the staff so impatient. I had to go after the staff every single time I needed something because he wouldn’t stop by or listen to what I needed. The only time I had someone looking at me or giving a decent attention was when they requested their tip in cash (which made party was so disappointed). I must say the food was good and that is the only reason why I am giving this place 2 stars.

I would have given a 5, but my rice was cold. But everything else was so yum. If you can handle heat. Suggest the spicy chicken. Amazingly hot. Their beef bulgogi so yum.

They had Halloween themed music playing which was fun. The servers were very helpful. My server was Andy, and he was very good, but all the servers helped and were all very kind and helpful. They gave me what I believe was complementary kimchi stew (I'm not sure if it just comes with the dish I ordered or not) which was very good.

The service was great. The lady that works there at the front is super nice and tries to be as fast and efficient as possible I felt like. The food was good in my opinion. They give you pretty good sized portions.
