Forest Park Tennis Courts

Quaint shady park with many nice tennis courts.

Unlike many tennis courts in NYC these are in good shape. They're protected from the wind by the nearby hill and the park itself is beautiful especially in the spring.

There were no tennis courts when we arrived. It seems all the nets were completely removed with a bunch of barricade gates out in its place. It is possibly they are building a brand new court but as of now no tennis can be played.

Well-maintained courts, I was pleasantly surprised. They are also will shaded. There are a few additional courts right next to these that are unused and overgrown, but they look like such a simple fix, too bad they aren't maintained too, it would have made for a bigger facility.

Didn't use them, but saw others playing. Well kept. Looked like a lot of fun.

The courts are great!! There are 5 courts (only one has shade) and another area where there used to be a court but they took off all the tennis netting. They say it should be fixed, but it's been awhile (over a year) and nothing yet.

Nice and quiet up in the hill by the park. Not too busy at most times but would be nice to have more people make use of the facility instead of the regular 10-15 people.
