One of the best hotels ever. Sublime service, location and quality. Top hitel
Ok the location is fantastic. You can walk to Marbella city in under 20 mins.
But for a hotel costing almost €5k a night for a two room villa, the service and food are incredibly average.
Dinner at El Grill is a must, if you don’t mind the average food and lack of food service.
The beach is very small. The gym is awfully tiny and ill equipped.
The entire hotel is very cramped and busy with outside guests. As a hotel resident you never get a feeling that you’re the priority. Every where you have to wait and queue with outside guests.
The room was OK, nothing special. They feel a bit aged. Bed is very comfortable.
But the biggest issue with this hotel is that it feels like club med. You’re constantly surrounded by crying children (even though we went in Sep), at restaurants and pool side. Eating Breakfast felt like eating at a kindergarten canteen.

Dinner outside here on the patio is a wonderful location. Staff are fantastic and so is the menu. It breathes classy old world charm
It's very expensive but it offers such a personal experience. The gardens are beautiful, although the rooms are a bit dated. The service in general is exceptional.

Nielson the Bar manager has his team deliver the highest standards of quality to all there guests. Been professional throughout, it is his attention to detail, that makes it just a pleasure to behold. This is a must place to go and enjoy a truly Magical Esperance. Thank you Robert & Edyta Jackson
A incredible hotel. Location is perfect, ambiance was great, service was top notch. HOWEVER. We ate at El Grill for dinner. After a lovely evening I ask for the bill. I noticed they double charged us for our main courses. There’s two people eating and they added 4 main courses to our bill when we clearly only ordered two. We were there for 4hrs so I can’t understand how this could have been a simple mistake. When I asked the waiter to remove it he seemed shocked I noticed the mistake at all. He removed it with no problem but I found the situation to be odd. It made me wonder if this is a common occurrence? I’m unsure but we will still visit again regardless. I still recommend the establishment, 9.8/10. Just make sure to check your dinner bills before paying anything :)
Not really much you can say about this place that’s not positive. MC Beach is my favourite place for lunch, the pizza’s at El Patio are fantastic and The Grill has a small but well built menu. The only staff I found to be a bit neglectful are some of the breakfast servers however the breakfast buffet is well stocked.
