The Original Steaks and Hoagies Crown Point

My original Philly steak the bread was hard and chewy I ate all the meat threw the bread away. Tots and onion rings were good but the sandwiches were not so great like I’ve had before from there

i'm from chicago and this is NOT a hoagie. highly disappointed but i should have known better coming from a place in northwest indiana . $12 waste.

The sandwich was mid. It's not bad, but it's not anything to write home about. Kinda pricey. The staff is very sweet and the restaurant is clean!

This place was very delicious and I love their take on tater tots. Incredible in every aspect.

The philly was about as close to an original as you can get. Get it with Whiz.

Ordered the steak philly wit wiz. Should of told them to add onions. Steak sandwich was very good. However a little pricey. 18 bucks for the steak sandwich and small fry. Very nice atmosphere and they have draft beer and some canned beer. They resturant seemed very clean also

I’ve always wanted to have an authentic Philly Cheesesteak, but I haven’t made it to Philly yet. But from what I have seen from pictures and been informed by friends, this is the closest thing you can get next to the real thing.

Regardless, this place is outstanding. The food is incredible, the spot is nice and clean, and the people are extremely friendly.

Sandwiches are great for takeout, but I will say the experience and food is drastically improved when you dine in. In the past I’ve carried out the original and the spicy, but today I had the original with the spicy mayo on the side with some onion rings. An absolutely incredible experience, highly recommend!

I had the original Philly cheesesteak. The sandwich was AWESOME hot and fresh. The fresh hand cut fries just made the whole experience that much better. Went back this past Friday for a second time and I had the original chicken Philly and the loaded tots which had bacon and cheese in them. The best way to explain the thoughts is like a mashed potato ball with bacon and cheese and fried. That's the best way I can explain it and they were fantastic same with the sandwich. The employees are very happy and very friendly The owner is an awesome guy talked to him for a few minutes he remembered us from the first time we came in.
