I was there at this cafe with my wife on a Saturday afternoon 02/06/2024. We ordered chicken schnitzel with chips and side of garden salad. We were served with three crumbed chicken tenderloin and French fries. It was a kind of a kids meal, does the cafe chef/owner know what chicken schnitzel is? Not going back ☹️.

Cafe 101 serves up breakfast, brunch and lunch to perfection! Their food is amazing and flavourful made with care and love. With great ambiance and friendly service, it's a must-visit spot for brunch lovers. Eli who is the owner of the cafe disinfects the coaches 3 times a day cause he cares. So before someone criticise’s him think how you would feel if someone came to your place and changed a dirty nappy or jumped on your bed with dirty shoes. So sad to see how people are so quick to criticism someone but not compliment. I was here few times and one little girl spilt some water on the floor next to play-area her mother has come after her hit the water bottle off her and walked away not even caring enough that someone would slip and fall. My daughter went and got the paper towels from the cafe and we cleaned the floor. Cause we care😀 I definitely recommend the Cafe 101. Coke and enjoy the beautiful food with amazing staff and hygiene place.

My experience at Cade 101 in Alexandria was disheartening and put a damper on our public holiday outing. We arrived at the restaurant very hungry and eager to order food. Our group of five, except one person with specific dietary restrictions who brought a sandwich, planned to dine there. However, an old man with glasses, presumably the owner or manager, confronted us harshly. He scolded us for bringing outside food, stressing that he had invested heavily for the public holiday and expected all patrons to order from the restaurant. The situation escalated as he kept wiping our table with a dirty cloth, making us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. His demeanor and actions were not only unprofessional but also lacked the basic hospitality one would expect in the service industry. To make matters worse, his behavior upset a child in our group, causing them to cry. It's disheartening when a dining experience turns negative due to poor management and lack of empathy for customers' needs, especially when dietary restrictions are involved. The restaurant's handling of our situation was appalling and ruined what could have been a pleasant holiday meal.

Saying something positive about this place is the easiest part because there's nothing positive.

Took my 1.5 year old twins there for breakfast on Sunday and the staff behind the till including the owner was more interested in cleaning dishes, counting money in the till and packing dishes away than serving the customers. Next when I did order, the toasts were burned and I couldn't give it to the kids. I asked the waitress when she brought the food, if she could get me two plates for the kids. She said yes and disappeared into the kitchen . Meanwhile I had two hungry kids screaming their heads off. I had to wave to get her attention ten minutes later.

These guys seriously don't know how to run a Cafe. If I could, I'd give them 0 stars

Cafe 101 serves up brunch perfection! Their egg omelette was fluffy and flavorful, while the Aussie Big Breakfast was a delightful surprise packed with deliciousness. With great ambiance and friendly service, it's a must-visit spot for brunch lovers.

Coffee was alright but food needs to be improved with fresher ingredients and quality. Expensive.

Coffee was fine. Poached eggs came with 1 slice of toast from cheap Woolworths loaf, so very basic. Staff were polite & efficient.

Good cafe inside Homemaker Centre with plenty of seating.
Parent note there is seating near a free play area so you can drink your coffee and have food whilst the kids play.
Coffee ok and food coming out looked good.
Stop here whilst enjoying the shopping and think over your shopping wish lists.
Toilets in centre and plenty of car parking.
Love your local guide- M❤️
