If I could give zero stars I would. I too visited the shop in August 2023. Ordered a metal print of Cabot Cliffs. Paid in full. Rob used every excuse in the book why it never arrived. Delays in getting materials, far behind with orders, but the best one was “it was shipped but I can’t find the tracking number.” Sounds like a lot of people are on the hook for their orders. The sad part is that his photography is beautiful. Beware when visiting this gallery. If you can’t see the product do not place an order. BUYER BEWARE!

I was in his shop in person in July 2023. I bought three small prints and ordered a large print with the metal finish to be delivered to my home in NB. It is now March 2024 and I have not received this piece. I have tried to work with the owner multiple times to rectify this to no avail. He has given many excuses: "the company that produces the metal in Montreal is very behind" . "the delivery driver was at your house but no one was home so they left".. I have a Blink camera that saves a clip whenever someone comes in the driveway, AND my boyfriend works from home and never saw anyone. Despite this, I worked with Rob to arrange to get the print delivered to my office as he said it would be during business hours and there is always someone available in my office. Still no print. I am extremely disappointed and will be seeking a refund through my credit card.

Visited the gallery in October 2023. Beautiful photography. Being from CB it made me feel the draw of Cape Breton and wanted one for my home office so I paid/ordered a HD Metal print
And that’s when the good parts stopped. After several exchanges on Facebook messenger Rob has not responded to many, many messages to him or Cape Breton Gallery. He’s not responded to my emails.
Working with my credit card company. So if you want the art, make sure it’s in your hands walking out or you’ll be simply throwing away your money just as others have said.
Hope others see this and prevents others from losing their money as many of us have so far

Ordered a metal print in July 2023. The order has not been delivered and now the store owner is refusing to return calls or messages inquiring about status updates. Will be contacting my credit card company for a refund as the owner can't be bothered to send a reply or update.

August 2023 purchase of HD Metal photograph of Cabot golf course in Inverness coastline. Have not received the item, despite email and phone call to Rob. Live in Toronto - at this point am considering calling the authorities as it appears some of us have not received what was purchased upfront.

Have yet to receive the items we purchased in August despite multiple promises that they have shipped or are shipping ASAP. At this point, would just like a refund.
UPDATE: Fyi, for those that come back to check... my credit card company issued a full credit after investigating this fraudulent business.

I ordered a print back in August which still has not arrived and owner continues with excuses. I would recommend avoiding this business. I will now start to work with my credit card company and notifying local authorities of this fraudulent business.

We visited in June 2022...loved the shop and all the prints. My husband and I couldn't decide which print to get. Ended up waiting until we were home to order one. I placed my order in September 2022 and have yet to receive my print, and now Rob has seemed to cut off all correspondence with me. I am truly disappointed in this company. As much as I loved the print we picked, I am just looking to get my money back.
