An easy way to reduce your carbon impact on a day to day basis. I had no idea that ConEd customers in New York could determine their energy source (outside of installing solar). Want to shout out Elliot, a knowledgeable and engaging rep who talked me through the process!

The gentleman at our farmers market was aggressive, persistent and won’t leave me alone even after I signed up just to get him off my back with his promises of cheaper bills and a happy environment. Every week I went there he pestered me and took up too much of my time-I don’t like to be forced to be rude and disrespectful but he pushed me to be that w his stalky high pressure sales talk-EVEN THOUGH I had already signed up. I’ve been on his plan for YEARS now, when my bill from ConEd indicated they were substantially more expensive than they were-of course they’re likely lying too, they’re not pretending to be the good guys.

Miss Kenya from the online chat service was super helpful with my account. She was quick with helping and communicated with me on every step needed to take. Made it very easy to use the online account more effective. Thank you so very much!!

Predatory marketing to make you sign up. Scam. Don’t save any money. Bait and switch. Takes advantage of younger people with green enebrth talk and saving money. The young lady smiled at and talks about saving money and growing trees.Shoves a tablet in my face and says that’s it. She had no documentation just her poor explanation of what won’t happen. Read to TOS after you sign up. It’s all phony lies she just told you. You will not save money. They probably don’t even plant trees. Do not sign up with them.

They are so patient with us, life happens and we’ve been late a couple times to pay and they’ve always been so helpful and understand. Plus the live chat, is an actual person and you don’t have to worry about them not understanding the situations/problems that might occur. I know that sounds silly to mention, but it’s refreshing to be able to have a real person help.

Predatory sales tactics, aggressive sales pitches, no information to provide prospective customers. Saw their booth at the Philadelphia Flower Show and the staff was extremely rude … I don’t recommend but I do think green energy is beneficial and economical. If you see these booths anywhere in the area, run away. They have very similar reviews to this but this review is entirely based off a present day experience.

I'm so pleased to be a member (for about ten years) that whenever I see a representative of Green Mountain Energy speaking to a potential subscriber, I introduce my self, describe how the program works, explain how positive it makes me feel, and encourage that person to join!

This company is a absolute fraud. They hustled me using the angle of being green and that you will save money on your energy cost. It was an absolute lie. They used the bait and switch technique. After one year of service they changed the terms and began charging whatever month to month. I was charged 509$ for my electric on one month for a tiny apartment sized living space ! My total electric for that year was over $ 4,000.00. I highly recommend not using this company because they will hustle you and rip you off like they did me. Don’t be their next victim of this scam.
