This block is a great place to explore as it has a significant history of Sydney Olympic Park old abbatoir. What I love about this block is the collection of buildings, divided into five and labelled A B C D & E. My favourite is the little guardhouse or gatehouse building E. There's a lovely garden at Dawn Fraser Avenue side and the Abbartoir Blue café. The buildings with the gardens and mature palm trees really set the scene. There's also a public lavatory here. Best of all, there's picnic tables, benches, and shade sails.
