I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sanchez in Copenhagen, and it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. The customer service was impeccable, with the staff being both attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall dining experience.

The food was equally remarkable, showcasing a perfect blend of creativity and traditional flavors. The star of the meal was undoubtedly the dark chocolate mousse. This dessert was a masterpiece, topped with a sweet salsa macha and cream, then finished with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and roasted kelp. The sweet salsa macha, made with ancho chiles, brown sugar, coconut oil, olive oil, toasted pumpkin seeds, toasted sesame seeds, and candied pecans, added a unique and delightful twist that elevated the mousse to new heights.

The mussels were another highlight, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Each dish left me in awe, making Sanchez a must-visit for anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience in Copenhagen.

Overall, Sanchez offers a beautiful blend of innovative cuisine and outstanding service. Highly recommended!

This is a genuine Mexican restaurant with local touches. The tacos are small like street tacos, and with delicious filling. Not totally tex-mex, but more like Southern Mexico.
The restaurant is comfortable and quiet we with some outdoor seating in good weather.

Delicious food, expertly made and very authentic. We had the Tres Tacos, the Gringa chicken tacos, guacamole, salsa, chips, rice and beans all super fresh. Highly recommend. Nice relaxed staff too and great atmosphere on a Friday, lunchtime.

I ordered the Chicken Gringa taco and words can honestly not describe how delicious it was!! The only downside was the price — 100kr for 1 taco, and not a very large one at that. I would estimate that your average person would need at least 2 or 3 of these tacos to feel full. The menu does say though that their corn is imported from two families in Yucatán and Oaxaca, so I imagine that that adds to the price. The hibiscus iced tea was also really good. I still can’t believe how amazing the taco was, I just wish I could afford to come here more often!

Very nice and cozy place. The tacos were good, but a bit too oily, and with too much salt. The place has a lot of space and a nice interior.

Very impressive food. Fresh and has great flavours. The vegetarian option tacos were sublime. Amazing taste and flavours. Soft taco. Went for lunch and food was just right without being overly heavy.

I rated this place over half a year ago and found myself back in the area. Unfortunately it has gone down from 5 to 4 stars for me. The taste is still there but the fish tacos come with pickled cabbage, no lime and no choice of salsa anymore. The fish, tortilla etc still taste great but why would you take away the lime and pickle the cabbage? The esquites was mostly cheese, which I don’t get as it’s more expensive to put together but you buy it for the corn and not the cheese.
Michelada is still great.
