Oxon Run Pool

This pool and it’s staff exceeded my expectations! First off, the pool is probably one of the cleanest pools I have ever been in and even more noteworthy as an outdoor pool. The staff being mostly young and African-American were some of the best lifeguards I’ve seen. They take their job seriously and we’re very attentive to all the people in the pool, yet they still knew how to have fun-my kind of folks!
The swim instructor Wolf was super amazing, my kids absolutely loved and respected him as an instructor and they really learned how to swim, especially one of my kids, who came in afraid to put his head underwater.
The only improvement this facility needs to make, is to have the deep end open. I went for one week, and only once wasn’t open, and I was told it was due to it being understaffed, but I saw enough lifeguards there who could’ve sat in that section of the pool. This is the only thing that will cause me to not come back unless it were for the kid’s swim lessons being that it gets crowded in the late afternoon in the non-deep end.

Nice little park for younger children 2-6 years old. The park helps increase physical activity, cognitive abilities, and independence while having a good time outside in nature like in the good old days

The best experience for fourth of July in a long time.
I definitely appreciate being part of a family who also had a wonderful time, and throughly enjoyed our self to the fullest. Nice Cookout area, nice neighborhood, and of course a very nice pool 5 stars from me.

I live right across from the pool I take my grandson to the playground everyone always have an excellent time the kids really really enjoy themselves they have run the food games cookout music there's always something for the kids to enjoy themselves every year praise God

Nice pool you need to bring tents, grills and more to enjoy the huge grass park area. You will be hungry if you don't have picnic or cooking out on a frill because there are no food places close this pool. It's free for DC residents with an i.d. you also can bring guests with you no i.d. no pool entry.

The staff was pleasant and took care of the premises and patrons. Concerned about you having a pleasant experience and maintaining a clean atmosphere. The facility was clean the majority of the time. Maintaining a safe atmosphere and secured environment was top priority. Security patrolled the perimeter and interacted with patrons which allowed you to feel comfortable and relaxed. Always had a good time during our visits.

unfortunately something happened with a lifeguard getting into a altercation and everyone was asked to leave the pool...another lifeguard went off and stated no, no, no, f....this...everybody back in the pool...it was a little crazy but it calmed down...cudos to the lifeguard who looked out for the kids!
