Taylor has, by far, the best operation in the area. His rates are super fair and his schedule is accommodating beyond anything else I could find out there. We had about a dozen lessons before personal reasons made me put a pause on my training, but he has been professional, personable, and accommodating throughout. No doubt that I'll pick back up where we left off and continue all of my aviation pursuits with LaMascus Flight Training.

If you’re looking at getting your private pilots license hands-down I recommend LaMascus. I’ve been flying and training with him over the past eight months. He is thorough competent and a very good instructor. You’ll learn more about the workings of the plane internally as well as its capabilities. He’s available for questions and help on his off time as well as when you’re in the cockpit. Scheduling is easy and can be accommodated around availability and needs. San Martin airport is easy to get too and great place to fly out of. His rates are the best in the area and will beat out any of the bigger corporate style training facilities. His independent company lets him be flexible as well as grow a real relationship with your training instructor. If you really want a license keep plugging away and stay in the seat, book lessons as often as you can, each lesson is an opportunity to improve your skills. Flaps Up!

Taylor is an multi-generational pilot. consider these 2 points. some are teaching flight school just to build hours. Taylor is teaching because hes good at it. skilled, patient, flexible. He operates from san martin airport because its less busy, which means more flight time for you.

I have been flight training with “LaMascus Flight Training” for a couple months now and I can truly say that the training I receive is not just in aims to pass the check-ride but to get me ready for all possible scenarios I may encounter while flying.Taylor LaMascus has thousands of hours under his belt and is honestly one of the top instructors out there. My ultimate flying goal was to get my PPL so I could transition to a Tailwheel J3 Cub. I interviewed several CFI's before going with Taylor. I discovered Taylor started stick&rudder Cub flying about the time most kids start riding a bicycle! He is a great instructor, super relaxed and calm in the cockpit. He got me completely prepared for my FAA examine in the 172, then transitioned me to the Tailwheel. Taylor can fly a Cub like nobody else. Truly and great pilot and person.
