Westport Rivers Vineyard

We'll set up for tastings and nice little gift shop! Outdoor seating to relax is a bonus thanks to the beautiful scenery!

Service and views were enjoyable. Less enjoyable was the price per tasting and the fact that the wine was served in plastic cups instead of glass. Please bring back glassware

This was the first vineyard I've gone to north if virginia and I'm really impressed. The whites were nice and crisp, great fruity Jose, but not sweet, just the way we like them. We'll definitely be back in the summer!

The younger gentlemen with the hat on Saturday performing the wine tastings was incredibly standoffish. He would pour the tasting without giving any indication of tasting notes, and not even the name of the wine, uh, what? The younger lady (when they switched from cashier to tasting positions) on the other hand was fantastic. She gave better pours, explained the varietal, and was just plain pleasant. Been a wine club member for more then 4 years now and seriously considering cancelling it because of that standoffish employee .

We are just so fond of this vineyard! For years, Mark has lead our tasting before we go to the fire pits. But this year we went on a hayride (such beautiful views of the grounds) and Jack delighted us in the tasting room with his passion, knowledge, and excellent story telling. Our annual wine club retreat was a delight this year, looking forward to our next visit.

Overall, our visit was "ok". It has been about 4 years since we've been here. The wines are different, and not my favorite. It doesn't mean they're bad, they just weren't something I'd drink.
The tasting was a struggle. The conversation felt forced, and I felt as if the person who was doing the tasting wished they were somewhere else.
The outdoor venue is absolutely beautiful, and the offering of food trucks was good.

Small winery. They have wine tastings and sell their bottled wine. Clean bathrooms. Nice views of the vineyard
