Nagoya's Central Park is a green oasis amidst the urban hustle and bustle, offering respite and relaxation for locals and visitors alike. Spanning acres of lush greenery, manicured lawns, and tranquil ponds, the park provides a peaceful escape from the city's concrete jungle. Stroll along winding paths lined with cherry blossom trees in spring or vibrant foliage in autumn, immersing yourself in the beauty of nature. This used to be a regular park with some nice scenic walking but now it’s the exciting hotspot of Nagoya with high-end shops and restaurants. There’s still plenty of space to play and even some kid friendly places towards the north part of the park. Central Park is now very popular with people who want to get a great photograph of the Nagoya TV tower in the background.
Central Park is a very convenient place with alot of easy to access stores. Only complaint is it doesn't have a very wide variety of restraunts and the restraunts it does have are more so for snacks not to eat a full meal.
A little crowded is good considering the current situation because it's a Chinese holiday but the rest of the time it's a good place for those who like less people.
Above is Nagoya TV Tower and small park. Underground is metro station with lots of shops. The area is quite big and extend to a few blocks. You will find restaurants above ground as well.

This is a great place to hang out in Nagoya if you are into greenery, people watching, and parks. I got here for the Italian Festival near the Nagoya Tower. So yeah there are festivals from time to time so do watch out for that.
Overall, a great place to just chill. There will also be some food stalls so a great opportunity to sample local cuisine. Plus, you'll be near the Nagoya Tower, which is very photogenic in my opinion. It can be too hot in the summer though so my advice is to visit this area at night, which is what I did.
