Ifthar Restaurant

Once upon a time, this was the hotel in Edappally that was said to be the best hotel. But now if you ask me what's bad, I can say this. Because the staff here has reduced my behavior and their attitude to go there. I had an experience where I sat down to eat food and left a glass. When I took it to pour water, the rim of the glass broke. If it didn't come with it, then we broke it. Other staff say that all the glass that was like this was changed without knowing it. They changed the other glass, which is worse than this, something like full black dot is sticking to it. When it was called, there was no other way to change it. That the new glass is covered. Their attitude started to change in that saying. If you go to eat, when you see us, it is as if you want to eat and go. When I came one day before this, I asked for the menu card, then the menu was written all over the place, so go and look.

Ordered porotta and beef roast. Very disappointed. Beef is very hard and tastes like normal curry. Not recommending at all.

We used to have Chicken Kabsa all the time which was amazing until recently; it has lost its freshness and seems overcooked due to bulk packing and storing i feel. The management should look into it. Overall, their food and service is good. Their tea and snacks are also amazing!

Delicious biryani paired with beetroot chutney was a delightful combination. The biryani, served on a banana leaf, enhanced its flavors even more.

It opens until late at night. It has exceptionally good food!

Very friendly staff; this is one of the best restaurants I've been to in Cochin. Value for money, and lots of variety in delicious food I can pick from. I ordered fish mango, fish pollichathu (this one was extremely tasty; I wanted more but unfortunately it was out of stock!), biryani, and pathiri.

The location was perfectly tucked into the city.
