We have enjoyed the rodeo for the past 10 years. Always a good show and friendly staff. Would like to see them upgrade the sound system. It's very hard to understand the announcer. Acoustics in this building aren't the greatest but perhaps they could bring in a sound person who could help them upgrade to better speakers and microphone.
The Fort Worth Stockyards is a great place for a family-friendly rodeo night. You get a little bit of everything: bull riding, bronc riding, roping, and barrel racing. The announcer explains each event, and the entire show is fun for all ages. This is the perfect place to see your first rodeo. Kids will enjoy the rodeo clown and calf and mutton scrambles.
Seat recommendation: If anyone in your party is tall, I’d avoid the box seats and buy seats in advance on the front row of the regular sections. This will ensure people aren’t constantly stepping over you, and you’ll be able to stretch your legs. Leg room is very minimal in the box seats and can be very cramped and uncomfortable for some people.

What an awesome experience. It was me and my wife's first time ever. We were so excited to be there. It was the 116th anniversary. The rodeo was outstanding. We will be coming back with and without the kids. My favorite element of the show is the host/announcer the way he broke down every aspect. It made it SO MUCH easier to watch. It's good to know it's so much history is in my own backyard.
First time going to a Rodeo and it was so much fun. I enjoyed it as a birthday present and definitely we will be going back, great experience specially if you have kids!
I absolutely loved this rodeo!!! The atmosphere, the cowboys, the clowns, the collesium- it was all a great time! Sheridan was wondeful!!!!
This was my families first Rodeo and it was amazing! Had such a great time!
This is the first indoor rodeo in the US and it was more fun than I even expected. They play fun music like at a baseball game to reach to, there is various screens and lighting contributing to the entertainment. The cowboys come from all over including Brazil and Mexico and the US. The only complaint I have is the seating. The seats are so close together that you have to stand up to let people pass and people come in and out. We would recommend going with VIP seating that is more comfortable and more room. It was great either way though. The rodoe lasted abput an hour 1/2 to 2 hours. They have a concession stamd for food and snacks and a full bar. We for sure are going back.
