Beautiful area. Interesting architecture. Nice area for a short walk or to sit and relax. We went on a Sunday and it was closed so we did not go in.

Historic antebellum home located in Jacksonville, NC. Ample shade, green space, and river view walk.

Nice place to visit, walk around, and experience bit of history. The house was locked, but we could see inside the windows. There are pretty walks along the river, and it's within walking distances of some cafe's. All in all, a nice spot for a morning activity.
I came on Sunday, it was closed. I didn't see any placard with information.

A relaxing, picturesque place with plenty of shady spots to spend a hot NC afternoon.
