Located in the midst of one of Agra's biggest business hubs Sanjay Place is a memorial for martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country.
It is free to visit.
It is mostly peopled by local office-goers who gave their lunch and siesta there and basically cause commotion and disturbance to genuine visitors. They lie down on the benches and conduct loud discussions.
The memorial is otherwise well constructed and laid out with a lot of greenery and flowerbeds in bloom when I visited in December '23.
The washrooms are in an awful state of maintenance and the memorial is littered with a lot of plastic and waste from the office-goers who lunch and rest there in the afternoons.

Shaheed Smarak Park is actually a memorial park in various locations, particularly in India, dedicated to honoring the memory of those who sacrificed their lives for their country. If you're looking to join or support such a cause, it's a noble endeavor

As a visitor to Shaheed Smarak, I was deeply moved by the solemn atmosphere and the profound sense of reverence that permeated the surroundings. The memorial stands as a poignant tribute to the countless individuals who laid down their lives for the nation's freedom and prosperity. The design of the monument is striking, with its imposing structure and thoughtful landscaping creating a serene and reflective space for contemplation. The inscriptions honoring the martyrs serve as a powerful reminder of their bravery and sacrifice. Additionally, the well-maintained grounds and informative plaques provided valuable insights into the historical context and significance of the memorial. Overall, Shaheed Smarak is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking to pay their respects to the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

It's a good park situated in this area..
This park is good to come here with your family or friends.
The park environment is good and hygienic, i didn't see any Waste material or trash here..
It is a good option to come here with your children but there are no swings here and I didn't see any footpath here, there should be a footpath here.
Overall Nice experience 👍🏼

Shahid Smarak park is adjoining with a nice monument in memory of the martyrs (shaheed) who fought for Indian Independence. There used to be a jail in this place during British time. The place houses a public library to read and spend some time on the several benches in the park. Would suggest visiting once if in or around Sanjay place. The smarak also hosts independence day celebration. Good for kids because of the garden and showing them a historically relevant place.
