Karan Dam is a medium irrigation project on river Karam, a tributary of Narmada. It’s located near Kothida village in Dhar district.
Construction was almost completed in April 22 but monsoon disrupted and eventually the dam collapsed due to multiple faults.

After lot's of effort people are safe now after the leakage of karam dam people was shock but government handle this situation very wisely , may be some people are not satisfied because are fingers are not same , similar thing all people are not think same

This dam is build on chambal river and is used to supply water to Pithampur industrial area.
