Great view
Fun in the sun, beautiful waves.
The monument celebrates the fantastic job lifesavers did on Sunday, 6 February 1938. On that day, a heavily crowded Bondi beach was pounded by three large waves in succession. Many were rescued but sadly, five drowned.
South Bondi pool big waves pool closed. Great fun watching big surf.
Great place to swim and Bondi is a must visit

Like most Australian beaches, THIS IS A DANGEROUS BEACH. MAKE SURE you know how to swim! IF YOU DO NOT KNOW OR CAN’T SWIM STAY BETWEEN THE BEACH FLAGS. Raise your arm if in trouble. LEARN how Rips operate and remain calm when in one. NEVER swim alone.
