The Warsaw Mermaid is a fantastic tourist destination that offers stunning views and a rich historical ambiance. The area is surrounded by beautifully renovated old buildings that maintain their original charm and architectural splendor. Walking through this part of Warsaw feels like stepping back in time, with each building telling a story of the city’s vibrant past.

Moreover, the vicinity is brimming with traditional restaurants that serve delicious local cuisine, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal while soaking in the historical surroundings. Whether you’re a history buff, a foodie, or simply looking for a picturesque place to explore, the Warsaw Mermaid is a must-visit.

Nice square with a lot of cosy restaurants. Unbelievably quiet place but with a lot of people. Really unbelievably.

Nice statue showing the Mermaid of Warsaw, with a shallow water fountain at the bottom. On hot days children like to play in it.

Worth a look but mostly for the tourists. It is in the center of old town. A fountain for the kids. It’s a free venue.

A really nice statue showing the symbol of Warsaw. During winter the mermaid is surrounded by an ice rink and you cannot get too close to it but it is still a nice site to see.

Finally my mission can be accomplished in visiting both of Warsaw Mermaids particularly in this Old town which I meet at Christmas time.

I believe it could be a very beautiful view at night time after the color lights open.

Let's Merry Christmas and Happy New year 2024 together.

This mermaid statue was made in bronze by Konstanty Hegel in 1855 and statue is a zinc cast from the original, placed in Warsaw’s Old Town Market square.
