We came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday and the ambiance was perfect - we had a table for 7 upstairs. We went for a 6 course @ 500pp. Each course was a pleasant surprise - I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. Top picks for me were the scallops and the chaat. My friend was pescatarian and for each course they accommodated this dietary requirement very kindly.

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Pondi! The fusion of Indian and French cuisine was a revelation to my taste buds. The ambiance was charming, with a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. However, what truly made my visit exceptional was the outstanding service provided by Cherry. Her warm welcome and attentive care throughout the meal added an extra layer of enjoyment to the already fantastic dining experience. I highly recommend Pondi to anyone looking for a unique culinary adventure in Hong Kong.

Haven't had Indian-French fusion before and this was pretty good! We had a big group so we were upstairs, very nice and cozy up there. The staff were great with the explanation and we probably stayed too late to finish off the birthday cake (thanks for accommodating!). Definitely worth a try.

A little Indian-French bistro hidden in one of the alleys in Sai Ying Pun. We tried this place because of our friend's recommendation. And thanks to her, we enjoyed a night of flavour explosions. We ordered pani puri, baked aubergine with cauliflower, stuffed calamari and lamb chaat and we enjoyed every single dish. The baked aubergine with cauliflower was our favourite. The cauliflower and aubergine were beautifully chargrilled with a little bit of smokiness. The seasoning was strong with lots of cumin but not too overpowering. We definitely want to come back to try their other dishes.

What an amazing little spot! Understated and stylish with lovely staff and amazing food. Will be back! We went for the Tuesday night free-flow momos which was a great set menu deal (also had the veg momos just don’t have a picture)

Excellent small restaurant in a lovely neighborhood. They serve fusion between Indian and French cuisine. On Tuesday they have menu with free flow of Pork or Cabbage Momo. They also have some tasting set menu starting from 500 hkd. Our dinner was delicious and I will definitely come back there.

I arrived a bit grumpy because I had trouble finding the place, Google maps is terrible in Hong Kong! All that disappeared with the starters : the scallops and the steak tartare, Omg so delicious! I'm not really a steak tartare person but my friend ordered them and I would order them again on my next visit. Scallops as well! We had the butter chicken which was also good but I loved the lamb even more and will also order this again! Finished with the sticky toffee pudding which I really enjoyed as it wasn't to sweet and just what I needed at the end of the meal. I highly recommend this place!
