Great beers and great service. Their tasting flight is more expensive than their neighbors, but the quality is so much better. After trying several nearby places I was ready to give up on Vancouver craft, but 33 Acres has restored my faith in the scene.

Although 33 Acres is better known as one of the top craft brewers in Vancouver, they also happen to make the best espresso in town! I enjoyed a Phil and Sebastian roast of Nansebo Genene. It was acidic and vibrant, and my favorite espresso in recent memory.

Great service
Excellent recommendations
As a beer drinker who likes to try different ones in short visits, a flight is the way to go.
We tried 2 IPAs, a Pilsner and French Blanche (think of a Witt)
And a BONUS try of the Doppelbock and Shwartzbeir!

First impression was this is a hipster brewery. I was treated spot on tho those vibes.(Pretentious) I tried to enjoy a flight($16) one beer at a time but was greeted with this blank stare as I needed to select four beers instantly in a somewhat empty establishment. Service was mundane. Definitely didn’t feel welcome. The beers I tried were ok. Their beer listed wasn’t updated from prior finishing kegs off prior day. I really wanted to like this place as it had a beautiful look. I was served a dirty glass which caught me off guard in such a clean establishment, maybe their dishwasher just leaves soap on glasses occasionally. Overall maybe coming at opening was my fault or maybe this is just how the brewery operates.

Stopped in here for breakfast/brunch and a flight before heading off for our float plane home. There was a lineup when we got there (early) so a very popular place. My travelling companion and his daughter are very up on 33 acres and their beer offerings. The Bennies were decent but I was not taken by the beers. I was suffering from the night before so I might have been slightly jaded. I do like their Mescal Gose when I can get it locally but the other offerings were a bit too flavorful (I know that's weird criticism) for my liking. Nice little store in the restaurant, cans available, and a decent outdoors patio.

Whatever you do, absolutely do not grab brunch here. The potatoes were served cold and the breakfast sandwich was inedible with what looked like an uncooked sausage patty. It's also ridiculously overpriced with sub par service and mediocre beer to boot.

Just head down to Modus a few blocks away for a simple and delicious brunch instead (and quite affordable!).
