My recent experience with the institution was highly unsatisfactory. The facilities are in state of disrepair, with several windows unable to be closed properly. Additionally, some instructors exhibit poor English proficiency, making comprehension challenging for students. The class composition often includes individuals who lack basic understanding of the English language, having enrolled in an English course prior. Furthermore, certain members of the staff demonstrate rudeness and lack of concern for the overall student experience, prioritizing punctual payment above all else. Regrettably, I cannot in good conscience recommend this attempt of institution.

As a student who left this school, please take this comment into consideration if you are considering coming to this school. First of all, the reason why I left this school is the lack of seriousness of the school staff in their work. Secondly, the curriculum is seriously sloppy. cornerstone is a place that only focuses on taking students' money. Let's assume you come to school and you have a problem (related to school) you will not find anyone to help you. Let me tell you my own experience (the simplest one)
They charged me 10 dollars for my school student ID card, then when I asked for my card they asked me if I had paid for it. When I said I paid, they said they didn't know where my card was. It's interesting and disrespectful for them to act like I'm demanding something I haven't paid for. What's worse is that after I left school, the program director (Arthur) asked me if everything was okay, considering my absences, and when I told him I was leaving school, he didn't even reply instead of asking why. Imagine, you leave your country and come to another country to get education and you leave school because of poor quality education. Your school doesn't even ask you if you're having any problems. Another issue is that when I asked for my money back, they said they would keep 30 percent of my money and send the remaining amount. In the e-mail I received for the refund, they said that the amount to be paid to me was 4600 dollars, but later it was calculated incorrectly and a refund of 2500 dollars would be made. The interesting and ridiculous thing is that the student number in the e-mail in which they said they would send 2500 dollars did not belong to me. Even though I said this, they said that the student number was wrong and the second calculation was correct.
Long story short, if you are planning to study at this school, I recommend you to seriously evaluate and research other schools and also contact someone who has studied at that school before.

It is definitely an institution that should be avoided. I studied here for 6 months and it was the funniest thing I've ever done in my life. First of all, it's not a school, it's not a university at all. It has no validity in Canada. just business premises. If you want to learn English, ESL courses may be useful. So if you miss your pre-kindergarten education. There is no difference... it may even have some shortcomings. employees are irresponsible. managers are rude. I realized the mistake I made and quit my education. I only studied for one semester. I received my diploma, which is not valid. Don't give your money here. Yes, it may be tempting when you want to come to Canada to study. but it won't help you.

STAY AWAY from this college!!
Please, do not go to this college. I got enrolled in August 2022 and I decided to cancel my program. The University was supposed to refund partially of the deposit as per our agreement and never did.
When I asked for the refund they told me they had sent the money to a payment method I did not choose, thus the money never appeared. I specifically asked to receive a check under my name and the college decided to use another payment method so the money got lost.
Unless the college proves me wrong, it is a scam.

I didn’t mean to write this review but the only true comment left about this college is by a comment leaver named Jay. He wrote he has no idea about their ESL, I will tell you all the truth about their ESL program. They go and beg their students write awesome google reviews about their teachers and poorly managed college who is making money on trapping international students for their money and exploiting their own teachers. All their positive comments you read here are made up, fake and fabricated to boost their visibility on the Internet. Their ESL program is poor because of its manager someone called Abas an arrogant, unprofessional person who likes humiliating people and changes his colours ten times in order to survive on his job. He is from Iran and majority of his teachers were obviously from Iran when I was a student there, except for two Russian teachers ok, maybe not all, 90 percent from Iran. His Iranian teachers were speaking their languages in the campus among each other and how they were supposed to demand other students speak English only. I don’t know they have changed their monotonic and monethnic ESL teacher team yet or it’s still the same? I don’t know if they even changed their monethnic Japanese mostly student body as well? Only a couple of guys from Spain, Mexico, and a dominating student body of Japanese students, this is their market, making money on poor Japan, amazing humble, civilized, appreciative Japanese students were mislead with false co-op programs. Yes, we also didn’t have physical books, just links, they obviously saved money on us, but their dishonest manager Abas was my person be aware, dishonest, two-faced guy and a terrible teacher. Why he ever lasts? Because Canada is a myth, rule of law belongs to majority mafias like everywhere. Jay is right about anything else he wrote about their co-op programs, they don’t have any serious partners, that’s your trap, their hook to pay them money so that some private Korean or Chinese businessman gets even richer and buys even more 5 million dollar condos in Vancouver and contributes more to the gap of rich and poor that I shockingly observed in that country. Go to a public school, at least you can use that diploma to get a normal job in Canada if you are interested in this country, but don’t make this cheap businesses even richer. Yes, some comments say they print and sell diplomas and don’t care about anything else, it’s true. Do your research, don’t get trapped, every private business that is called a college is not a college. Maybe the only true thing in this comments was about their ESL teachers being hardworking, good guys, yes, my ESL teachers were coming out of their skins to please students you know why? Because they were all newcomers to Canada, trapped, exploited, their juices, squeezed in handling ridiculous teaching conditions in order not to lose their jobs and not to join the club of homeless guys who all surround their three campus buildings in downtown Vancouver when I was a student here. Do your research, that's it. I hate made up comments.

I've three months studying in the English course (ESL) and I just want to say that teacher Tetiana is one of the best teachers.
She's dedicated and always encourages us to improve our English skills with different activities.
She's simply the best ✨

Good program and good campus, I just checked out the student dormitory just 1 block away from the waterfront station.

I miss Cornerstone so much. This college is not only college, but it can call a second home for me. I feel so comfortable every time I come.
Staffs are so friendly and helpful especially Kayley. She’s wonderful.
I studied in the hospitality management program 6+6 in. I was able to study English free for 1 month and I got some scholarships too. I studied from January 2020, so I have a chance to study in college for months. After that, Canada was lockdown, so we couldn’t go to the college for a while. Then, Cornerstone allows a few students to come to the class and some of them study at home. I think it’s very awesome idea that other schools don’t have.
About my program, I could learn a lot in hospitality industry and the instructor especially Yahya and Shay are amazing. They’ve a lot of experience to share with us. We almost had a chance visit a hotel but because of the pandemic, so I had been cancelled. Anyway, in my program, I could learn many departments and responsibilities to work in a hospitality management.
The pros of Cornerstone is that you can start the course any month and you don’t need to concern about your ages because I saw various ages and different nationalities. This college has many workshops and activities to do such as writing resume, job interview workshops, or food training to get certificate to work. And they support us to find a job during co-op too. I found many cornerstones students get job offer after graduation. I hope l’ll be the one too. One of the most important is that there are Milo( golden dog, he’s so adorable !) that’s why I love here so much.
Oops, I remember when I was in the college, they provided some snacks for students too lol I like that.
Cons : I think in the ESL class, there are too many students, so we couldn’t have chance to speak so much. But I really like the way of the teacher teaching style( Abbas) ; he’s the best ESL teacher. We had fun and activities to improve all of my language skills.
If you are considering to pursue your career in the future, I would definitely recommend Cornerstone to gain your knowledge and experience in Canada. It’s not only a college but it’s a part of my family too.
