Great park! Loved hitting baseballs here with the pup! Very clean with playground in the back!

Nice quite small park with a playground for children. A good walking area.

Seemed like a good place to park and enjoy the pleasant weather for a minute only a few blocks from the mainstreet crowds till we realized the bathroom's were locked. We left within 5m's of getting there. I wasn't there long enough to notice if there were any signs to confirm if the statue is supposed to be MLK, but if it was it wasn't a very well likeness of him at all and further more I do not believe MLK was 4 feet tall in real life. I had confused feelings and thoughts about a city that would dedicate a park to a man that was bigger than life itself with so much common sense and wisdom he freely shared with us all, but yet "WE" make him a 4 feet tall statue and lock the bathrooms all the time on top of it only being a stones throw from across the street from a 4 square block radius Sheriff's Office, lol.

🤷‍♂️🤪🙄

I think at the very least replace the man with a 5'7 statue as not to belittle the man literally or maybe put a wall up describing the odd events of his last days and maybe why his security detail was called off by politicians or how the shooter/shooters knew this as well so we never stop trying to question our history or rewrite it or send mixed messages to the future generations.

Returned to the area for the East End Festival. Had a wonderful time. The neighborhood has changed, and some of the new residents were not very friendly. But, the Park is well kept and a perfect location for this event.

What can you say about a monumental Park that has something to do with a pioneer activist a nonviolence man anytime my 6-year-old wants to sit and take a picture in front of a monumental statue of a man that has done great and is great and worthy things didn't deserves nothing but the best and that's why I gave it nothing but five stars all across the board. Times are changing, and so should we

It's a nice, clean park with a full size ball field. The park actually seems to get used by nice and clean people. I took my 2 year old son there and will be taking my 3 year old daughter next week. There's also a newer jungle gym type deal for smaller children or for whatever child has that preference. There didn't seem to be any "druggies" around or any signs of them being there (ex.: dirty needles, trash, etc.). And it's also in a pretty nice part of town. Also it has a private parking lot for the park along with on-site separate-sex, semi-private restrooms!
