McNally Jackson Books SoHo

Beautiful bookstore!! So many books, as a book lover I could spend days inside this bookstore. There is so much variety. I love the way it is designed and how books are distributed. I also really liked the Spanish section, I was impressed with some of the titles I found.

I was recently in Austin and went into their biggest bookstore and asked if they had Blake Butlers new book and they didn't have it, I had to order it on Amazon. When I went to this bookstore they had the exact book I wanted in the front under their 'recommended books.' This store is impeccably curated. I think it's my favorite bookstore I've ever been in!

Within 20 minutes I walked out with 4 books I was excited to read. Set up makes it really easy to find something you’ll enjoy. The store is well thought out and not your typical “Top 10” books thrown into your face. Also appreciate they have books w varied POVs!

Beautiful bookstore with great selection. Great place to take curious kids. Don’t forget to visit the children section in the basement

What a treasure! I loved this bookstore. There is so much to choose from and it’s so overwhelming because you want to read everything, yet it’s so enchanting and the set up is so cute that you never want to leave. Very kind staff too!

Situated in SoHo, McNally is a paradise for book aficionados. Its extensive collection and inviting atmosphere make it an ideal place to explore new literary treasures. With well-informed staff and frequent events, McNally stands out as a must-visit destination for those passionate about books.

3/5: Decent bookstore.

Tight corners in a rather cramped space, but it does give off an intimate feeling. Books are priced at MSRP or very close, so not much in the way of bargains. Just a couple things I didn’t like.

- Customers sit on the steps and I didn’t see any staff say anything.
- Staff aren’t the kindest
- No bathroom

A servicable bookstore but I’d prefer others in the city.
