Yolanda is THE BEST! Consistently reliable and a joy to work with! She is a neighborhood treasure.

Yolanda, the owner, was there bright and early on Saturday morning as I stopped by the store for last minute balloons. She helped pick out the perfect mylar balloons for our son's party and suggested a great Happy Birthday banner set as well. Everything was done quickly and was very reasonably priced. While all the other stores were still closed, we were all set for our party! This was our first time here but I am 100% sure we will be back.

So grateful for this place!! Beautiful balloons delivered last minute and such a warm and friendly owner. My family loved it. I will be back for sure!!

A few years ago, I ordered some crystal glasses for my brother's baby shower. They came out beautiful except the inscription was spelt wrong. We checked the paperwork to make sure it wasn't us that spelled it wrong but it was the sole responsibility of the person she went them to as even her invoice to them had the correct spelling. Well, rather than charging me full price, she told me to just keep them. I didnt even have to ask, she felt bad for the error. I can't remember if she returned the deposit or not but either way I know I walked away happy. We just gave them to family members who wouldn't care about the error so they didn't go to waste.
I'm now expecting my own bundle of joy and plan on visiting here again in the coming weeks!

Get everything in writing when you book with Fama party center. So I want to start by saying Yolanda is a wonderful person. I hired her to do 2 arches for my 50th birthday party at a venue in park slope once that venue closed down, we needed to get one ASAP. She volunteered to decorate the new place with all my decorations I had purchased on my own plus the arches and balloons I purchased from her. We spoke many times before my event regarding how I wanted my party to be, I explained to her my vision and she gave me some wonderful ideas. My event must have overwhelmed her. When I arrived at my party half of what we spoke about was done. I walked into my event looked around and had a meltdown. All she had to do is call me and tell me what the situation was. NOT one call to let me know until I called her and her reply was she didn't have time. Really?? I paid her a lot of money to get it all done. A word of advice get it in WRITING!!!!!

Jolanda is an absolute delight and really cares about her customers and the neighborhood. She told me she has been in business for 30+ years and I am SO happy to support such a wonderful small, local business!
