Working with Type A training has been fantastic for my teenager. He was paired with a fabulous coach who is helping him take his fitness to the next level to maximize performance in his chosen sport. Type A has been attentive, responsive and very flexible, able to meet my son’s unique needs and help him stay consistent. I can’t begin ejgih good things! An A+ program.

I work for a Property Management Company called Daisy, based in NYC, and we use Type A Training for complimentary cardio and yoga classes at one of our buildings. Nathaniel has been extremely easy to work with - quick, responsive, and kind. We specifically use the instructor Yessi at our building, and she is nothing short of lovely! Any time we needed a sub, he has been quick to help out and has provided us with high quality people. Would definitely recommend!

I cannot be more grateful that I found Type A. Sara and Yessi are amazing trainers that— beyond getting me to reach my goals— have helped me fall back in love with the gym. Nathaniel takes time and care to check in and ensure that he assigned trainers that will not only leave you sore, but confident. I cannot thank the team enough and have 0 hesitation singing their praises from the mountain tops.

I love using Type A Training. Nathaniel paired me with the most wonderful trainer (Urszula). She knows how to keep me motivated and pushing forward even on my laziest days.

I have been super busy at work lately, so having her come to my office has been a total life saver. If it weren't for her, I wouldn't work out at all...

Nathaniel made the entire process a breeze - excellent and quick communication. I would, without a doubt, recommend checking Type A out. Having someone come to my building has been a game changer!

I bought a workout package from Nathaniel a little less than a year ago, and he got me on my way to losing 70 pounds! He worked around my knee injury, my hormonal/menopausal challenges at 50, and set me straight on nutrition and exercise. The weight came off so easily I was astonished. In one year I went from a size 16 to a loose size 2, soon to be a ZERO! So if you're looking for a personal trainer to help you do something similar....look no further!

Training with Nathaniel has turned around my life and quicker than I ever expected. He's the best! I just started graduate school, which requires me to sit long stretches, that coupled with being a big snacker just started to catch up with me this fall. Nathaniel to the rescue is all I have to say. I love his program because the work outs are short (you can choose 30 or 45 minutes) and super high intensity. My time is tight and he makes sure every minute counts. I also love the versatility of the program-- we can meet in home, in a gym or in the park, it's always a challenging and fantastic workout. He employs a lot of different modalities, in focused circuit rotations, so it is never, ever boring. You can, on a given day, box, strength train, and/or run interval sprints. You will never regret this time, LESS THAN AN HOUR, and you know you have done an amazing thing for yourself. I know I'm not only healthier and have shed pounds (my original goal weight seems like chump change now!), but I also generally feel happier and less stressed. Nathaniel really listens to you-- if you have injuries or just feel athletically rusty, he'll work with you, guiding you with a lot of positive energy and constant encouragement as you work towards your goal. It doesn't feel like just personal training, Nathaniel's program is preventative medicine.
