This place is awesome if you don't want to go swimming perse but your kids need a break from the heat. You don't even technically need swimsuits! It's a really fun play area with a fun little stream they built in the middle. There is a concession stand for food and water and two large bathrooms. Plus there's always somewhere shady to sit.

This is one of the most beautiful Park areas in Colorado. No kidding. Check out the lake, picnic and child friendly stuff with really cool people.

Awesome mix of man-made and natural features incorporated into the design. Ample shade and picnic tables and bathrooms really close by. This is a perfect pre-nap-time adventure for toddlers in the summer.

Good clean fun! Although first impressions, it seems kinda dangerous for a kids splash pad with nothing but rocks and concrete blocks, but otherwise a great place to cool off after spending time at the best playground I've even seen.

Love this place! We've been going at least once a week. It's fantastic for the little kids, they all love it, there is a family restroom and snack shack, lots of tables and shade trees. A must go for younger kids!

I took my 17 month old daughter to the splash pad today. She’s been there before and we never had a problem. Today there were baseball games happening RIGHT NEXT TO THE SPLASH PAD. A ball landed right next to my toddler. It was coming very fast. The crowd said they were screaming trying to warn me but we could not hear them, since there’s constant screaming at baseball games anyways. This park is absolutely unsafe. Don’t take your children there if you see baseball games happening on the field next to the splash pad. I will be contacting the city. This is wildly unsafe. Apparently that same day a ball almost hit another child as well.

Here is a photo for reference on how close the field is to the splash pad.

This is one of the nicest splash parks I've been too, and my 1 year old loves it. I love the natural looking materials, and the giant rocks. A lot of splash parks themes are assaulting to the eyes, but not this one! It has a wide variety of water features and has a little lazy river that is so fun for the kids! I've also enjoyed sitting in the cool water on a hot day. It is also easily wheelchair accessible :) You can also rent out the gazebos for parties, or just set up a pop up on the grass! My only complaint is the snack bar. The only 'healthy' snack option is peanut butter crackers. As a parent there have been many times I've forgotten snacks, and kids don't have fun when they're snacky! I would love to see less candy and more things like applesauce and cheese sticks, and maybe some kind of puffs. Overall I 10/10 recommend coming here. It also right next to a huge playground and the library

Big splash pad, lots of features. 4 gazebos with picnic tables, grassy areas to sit in the sun. Parking is good. They have a small concession stand. And 2 big family bathroom. My boys had fun, we’ll be back this summer!
