Was very thankful to find this nice free tent site! all hotels in the area were booked up. Only one other camper was here

Let me start with there is no longer an electric charging station.... The lake is very beautiful, full of fish and very cold .... The restroom is far from maintained which is evident by the biting flies that swarm the campsites and lack of TP, so if you visit bring your own... The locals do not like anyone camping here and the traffic that regularly uses the dirt roads travel at speeds that I personally find dangerous... Today is day 3 being here and I had a local ranger Greg Hastings greet me early this morning because locals claim I have been here for weeks.... If you decide to visit make certain you bring an RV, because tent campers are met with hostility....

Nice place for boondocking / camping quiet area you will hear a vehicle approaching from the gravel road (not many at all). It is clean and grass seems to be cut regularly trash does pile a little bit most pick up after them selves some don't . We pick up the remains to show appreciation for the free camping & power ( 1 110v outlet right next to the water ) the locals are very friendly/welcoming. *For Rvs the road to get here can be a little narrow about the width of a single lane road with hills and blind spots be aware of on coming traffic. Our RV is 13' 6" heigh and there were just a few branches that were low that would graze our A/C unit we were able to slightly manuver around them on the small road.

Nice FREE place to camp. Soft grass, 1 spot has a concrete pad, there's probably room for about 6 campsites total before it feels too crowded, pit toilet, trash cans, floodlight over the dock at night. A few mosquitoes, but no big deal. A friendly farmer drove by at dusk to chat with folks. DON'T believe the people who mark this place as "Permanently Closed" on Google Maps just so they can have the place to themselves - (weasels). Get here early in the afternoon if you want to make sure to grab a space.

Was a very small camping area that was occupied before I arrived. So unfortunately couldn't camp there.

Really nice place to camp for free. Gravel roads to get there but they were in pretty good condition. The toilet is in desperate need of pumping though. We were the only tent with 6 RVers on a Friday night. Plenty of room and nice grass. Neighbors were a bit noisy and had generators running all night. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. There were a couple of picnic tables and fire rings.
