Gateway Trail

Great trails to walk n exercise.

Walked this trail one day from around 9am until 5pm and ended up at the Kwik Trip near stillwater.

Great ride from the Capitol to Lake Como to Lake Phalen and the Gateway then Bruce Venti trail back to downtown. Beautiful everywhere, the Gateway Trail was fantastic, should have taken photos or had my GoPro camera recording.

Love this trail. Definitely take it all the way to Stillwater and back on your bike if you can. It will be a beautiful trip. Mostly flat although there are a few bridges that are a bit of a climb. The trip to Stillwater is overall a slight downhill, especially the last section while the return is slightly uphill although not steep at all. Easy pedaling just go your own pace and walk the bridges if they are too much.

Really Enjoy Walking These Trails! They Offer Great Shade On Really Hot Sunny Days, These Trails Are Also Clean & Peaceful. Great Way To Get Some Outside Time In!

I misread this as McDonald’s on the map so some hikers were quite confused when I asked for a McRib and a small coke. All and all I ended up hiking the whole trail before I realized it was not a McDonald’s. A transformative experience nonetheless.

I really enjoyed myself here. It has great trail for walking or biking. Lots of birds were there so that’s always fun. Parking was fine and bonus for the port o pot!
