This is the most honest review I can give. The crew super nice and funny. My group of friends caught six fish five keepers. And even if we didn't catch anything we all said that the atmosphere on the boat was fun. Just a bunch of guys and girls out there fishing having a good time.

The boat itself is a typical party boat, but very clean (heads and all). The mates were very attentive and took very good care of our 4 person party. They used real fluke bait (squid and
Spearing) AND they provided GULP! I have never been on a boat that provided gulp. Now I haven't been on a party boat in several years. I cannot imagine that many other boats provide gulp.
The downside of the Laura Lee is this. The pool. I put in my $5.00 to be in the pool, along with my 3 companions. It cost $5 to be in the pool, which is not going to make or break me, neither is the prize, but I want To be part of the weigh in. I asked about it and was told "we are still fishing" ok I get that. I got my filets but didn't ask again. As I was leaving the boat, one of the mates told me that "you lost by a couple of ounces to another guy". Great no evidence of any kind. Sorry that is bad business. Part of the fun of joining in the pool is witnessing the results. I didn't have that chance and I'm not happy about it.

Have been coming here off and on for a while even though it is over an hour from home. Amazing crew that keeps the atmosphere lively and always there to help. Look forward to seeing Paul every time! Shout out to Mike and the rest of the crew as well. See you in the new year.

Had an amazing day on the Laura Lee Express striper jigging trip 11/19/23. The Captain kept us on the fish all day! Big thanks to the crew Big Anthony, Paul, Rob, Bruce, & Nick for always jumping in to help my son

Me and my son and my grandson went out last weekend and this weekend and I have to say it was the best party boat I've ever been on. Captain Joe and his five mates Paul Nick Nick Rob Bruce and even Anthony took great care of us and were attentive polite helpful I couldn't say anything but praise what a great crew

Honestly I wasn’t impressed with the Laura Lee. The rods are old and kept getting stuck, wasn’t even able to fish properly with the ones they provide for us. The crew was half asleep. I’m a regular on the Captree Princess but for the 7/4 tour it was booked solid. We decided to give the Laura Lee a try. Big disappointment. Every time we went back and forth to the same spots and we dropped our lines for 5 minutes the horn would blow to reel in. Half the boat wasn’t able to be used (including the back) because the crew was cleaning the boat for half the time we were on it. It was unprofessional. On the Princess they clean in between each tour. Everyone was stuck on one side of the boat to fish shoulder to shoulder with others. It wasn’t even the fact that we didn’t catch anything. We know it’s a gamble every time we go out. We had alot of bites, not sure if it was the lure they provided us with? The mates just didn’t look happy to be there, frankly they were straight up duds. They all hung out inside the cabin in back and when we did need help they were nowhere to be found. You can tell on the Princess that the crew and captain love what they do. They make it fun, are always right there to help and are willing to teach you. It was like pulling teeth on the Laura Lee and they could care less about anything going on. Save your money, skip the Laura Lee, it was a waste of $$ and quite the disappointment. Oh and to top it off it wasn’t even the full 3 1/2 hours we were supposed to be on it for, they went back to dock and let us off early. They clearly don’t care about their customers and just are in it for the $. It really shows.
