Nice little walk with the dog off the leash. You can do long walk, if you want as well.
Nice trail and you can find people running, watch out for beavers
It was kind of boring tbh.. Went on a Saturday evening, didn’t notice any wildlife at all.. As a person who enjoys birdwatching, this trail didn’t have much to give it a higher rating. (This is my personal opinion)
Depending on your expectations, this is either a fine or a rather conventional and unremarkable trail. It is smooth, wide, and finally gravelled. It is also very straight. You could close your eyes and just keep walking. Go to stretch your legs and catch of occasional glimpse of the river that is somewhere on the side through the trees. Otherwise find one of our was many, many nicer, and more beautiful trails.
Love this trail - I think it’s one of those rare finds that you can walk along the Jock river then the Rideau or vice-versa. Very cool part of the city.

A wonderful trail~ enjoy the lake view, I took my puppy for a walk~ the distance is so long, I spent 1h30min on finishing the whole trail~ and also I found the wild lily of the valley！And my puppy likes there too. We gonna go hiking in this trail again!🐶🐶🐶
