Outer loop is about 1.3km (i run it daily)and has all sorts of fun if you want to run, great fun trail you. an do a few loops or just add it in to your road run.
Also love seeing the young people taking their bikes out there having a great time, some have even invested time in adding a few jumps and other things to make it more entertaining for them.

Lovely walking trail. Not really stroller friendly tho.
Caution - irresponsible dog owners. A mid 40s couple let their copper-grey-white husky off leash to attack and pin our dog and stood by uselessly while we tried to pull their dog off. Also lots of people not cleaning up after their dogs. Really nice wooded park otherwise.
Best MTB trails in Barrhaven! Ben, if you see this, I was wondering if one of the walkers would tell me off for biking as I once got a grumpy face even though I moved off the trail.
The woods themselves have some short walking trails, and can make a great 30 minutes escape from being trapped indoors. The bus stop is clean and maintained, and has lots of unused parking.
A lovely place for a simple walk in the woods. Take a bag and pick up the very odd piece of rubbish that you see, and otherwise just enjoy the tiny bit of forest within the busy traffic.
Great park with an amazing bus station that has routes going to Barrhaven Centre and South Keys which makes it easy for a quick shopping trip or walk in the park. Consider this for your next connection or stop!
