Great station and connection of two lines, District and Hammersmith and City. Last station at zone 1 and it’s very convenient for you to explore both west and east London

Someone attempted to shove me down the train track. He failed and yelled at me GO BACK TO CHINA. This person is in Hasan Mahamud's photo down below.
Talked to staff and they were pretty chill about it and told me "don't worry there's nothing you can do about it". I totally agree I shouldn't be worrying about your country.

RAS : Une station de métro, ni plus ni moins. Je n'ai fait que la traverser afin de me rendre à Brick Lane.

This guys is roaming around the streets, he might run you over with his bike be careful.

Typical old style subsurface station with no lift nor escalator to the ticket hall. Bear this in mind if you have luggage!
Look out for the vintage signage and special tiles on platforms!

Decent station, never too busy, nice wide platforms. No step free access or escalators but it’s not many stairs down to platform level.
The style of the station reminded me of the ones you get in uptown Manhattan.

Nothing special. Just your ordinary ancient London tube station with all the usual features: no restrooms, no disabled entrance (to the best of my knowledge) and no parking. There are several exists, and some provide a nice sheltered area for the many homeless & "rough-sleepers", spending the night yards away from Aldgate's numerous commercial skyscrapers. The capital city of the world's 5th largest economy! Try telling that to the residents of Aldgate's pavements!!
