It is a 1000 year old historical place. We went to this place on Saturday morning The crowd was little less. It's a Beautiful building with old paintings and royal equipment. It is recommended to people who love to know dutch history and culture. We bought the tickets over there only not in advance.
One of the best castles in the Netherlands. It underwent extensive restoration and has great collection of paintings, medals, cutlery and dishes accumulated by its owners over centuries. The exposition is cleverly organized so you go from room to room climbing up and down. It might be a problem for people with disabilities to go. I haven't seen elevators. There is nice restaurant with traditional Dutch lunch menu and great selection of beer. Including the local beer from the nearby abbey. Pay special attention to the apple and other pies. They are something. Pay attention that catering closes at 16:00. There 2 parkings. Both are free. One is next to the castle and smaller, the other is bigger in about 350-400 m. Reserve some time to walk around.
An absolute worth visit, not only impressed by its peaceful surrounding gardens, but the castle interiors were gorgeous and well preserved.
Unser Besuch im Schloss Heeswijk war schlichtweg bezaubernd. Von der ersten Minute an wurden wir von der Schönheit und Sauberkeit des Schlosses beeindruckt. Die Gemälde, das Besteck und jedes einzelne Schlafzimmer erzählten eine faszinierende Geschichte. Die Atmosphäre auf dem gesamten Gelände war von einer unvergleichlichen Schönheit geprägt. Die sorgfältige Pflege und Erhaltung des Anwesens waren deutlich spürbar. Alles in allem war unser Aufenthalt im Schloss Heeswijk ein unvergessliches Erlebnis, das wir jedem wärmstens empfehlen können.
Ein wunderbares Schloss, herrliche Gemälde, sehr gut erhalten und restauriert, sehenswert, wir waren mit den Enkeln dort, interessant auch für Kinder, sie haben es genossen!
Very beautiful castle outside of Den Bosch. Accessible with the Museumskaart and brings light to the history of the castle. Nice for kids as well as there are specific kids-oriented information portrayed.
Nice spot to take a walk in nature surrounding the castle and a lovely Brasserie with more than enough seats to sit down and have High tea.

Castle was beautiful! Fun to walk around inside. There was a lot of full rooms with antique furniture to match, a lot more than other castles in the country. Felt like we had the place to ourself.
