Avoiding this place. Seeing too many dogs like pitbulls off their leashes. Dog owners are ruining it.
I was heading up north to head to my college but realized that I had enough time to go for a little walk and I love walking in the morning especially finding new places that I never been before
There are various trails, so leads to the same areas, while other leads to another destination. Make sure you plan ahead which trail you want to take. Hobble Falls and Maple Falls Cascades had no water, but the Hemlock Falls was beautiful. Get there early as it is crowded. I do recommend climbing up the stairs to the top of the waterfall!
Stumbled upon an entryway one day, went through the hassle of getting an app the next day to find some trails. Walked a few miles to get to the waterfall to then discover it was a 3 minute walk away from where I parked the previous day. Lol what fun. Such a peaceful place, the effort seemed negligible. Trust google and the colored markings on the trees for the respective trails. Now my go to thinking place. 🥰
Lots of trail options and the falls were small and nice. Not too many hills, definitely a good fairly easy hike! Gorgeous weather and not many crowds at all.
Only walked on a couple trails but I noticed a couple things. One: this place is VERY popular. Two: they've done a good job providing map kiosks all over the place. I'll write more after I get a few more visits in.
Great trail for a fall day!
