Six Mile Charter Academy

I am not afraid that this school is not good!!!!! With the arson threats, and the pepper spray in the ventilation, this school is horrible. There are many girls(mainly 7th grade) vaping/smoking in the bathrooms ALL the time!🤬 but the boys are kinda cute with scrumptious, miraculous, delicious, bootys🫦🫦‼️‼️

This place is horrible, my child attended this school for over a year. During this past year, my children had many teachers over the past year. On top of that this school almost had a shooting, a bomb threat, pepper spray in the air vents. The school has a major bullying issue. The people involved aka the administration does nothing to fix this issue. Students throw chairs stab other children with pens. My child was thrown against a locker and was punch in the face. The kid who punch my son didn’t get in trouble one bit. I try to call the school to speak to the principal and she won’t answer any phone calls. I get a CRT who job isn’t there to play principals. The women I spoke to was rude and didn’t help me. Then I spoke to a guy who was unprofessional. He told my son friend you better not get pregnant. Who does this?!? On top of that my youngest had a boy in his grade who ran out and slap everyone in his sight and scream and cussed at teachers and hit students. The school did nothing to help this boy. . This school is unprofessional and needs to be shut down. How do you have all these administrative people who job is to “help” but they don’t help. This school is nothing but a joke. DONOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE. If you do please make sure you are ready for the worst school year of your life.

Love this school. The administration has shown that they truly care about my child's education. They worked with him and demonstrated their knowledge and abilities to properly educate my child. I also think its a great family oriented atmosphere. Overall extremely satisfied with SMCA... Go Wildcats!!!

My daughter have been at six mile charter academy for 3 years now, and we love this school. There always tutoring for all who need, good teachers and always they have been very nice at the office when I need to check out my daughter. I'm grateful for this school and that my daughter have one more year next year. So far I have no complaints.

I recommend this school , my children has been here going on three years . I am very well involve with my kids teachers and school staff . Everyone is very helpful very kind and respectful . Every staff member is honestly there to help the students and the parents . My children have received nothing but the best from this school . If I ever had an issue (which was always a minor one ) they will solve that problem as quickly as possible . I would love to mention so many great staff member that has been involve with my children and making sure they get the help they need on a daily base . From principal to assistant principal to lunch staff member to class room teachers nurse staff and front desk office to the disciplinary teacher . All around everyone involve is just amazing . I honestly can’t say one thing wrong about this school . They’ve made my kids feel at home the moment I moved to fort Myers almost three years ago . 5 stars ⭐️ from me for this school .

Putting my kids at Six Mile Charter Academy has been the best decision I have ever made. The teachers and staff are all wonderful. They have a zero tolerance for bullying and that is something I admire. My son was being bullied at his previous school and they have made him feel safer than ever. They have the students interest at heart and it truly shows. I highly recommend this school.

Probably one of the worst schools in Fort Myers. Half of the teachers and the office could care less about u and what u need. My daughter has had 10 different teachers and have all quit they can’t keep any teacher for at least a month at this school. There is a lot of bullying. And if something goes missing you’ll probably never get it back and towards end of the school year my daughter was giving attitude towards the staff and I don’t blame her. Don’t send your child here send them somewhere where they’ll get a good education and have a safe environment!

As a fellow student at this school I must say this school is completely unprofessional. To start, the office staff absolutely hate most of the older kids, their faces are basically made of steel and out of the four years I've attended I doubt I've ever seen anyone on in the lobby crack a smile. Another main point is the obvious fact where the school can not keep a teacher in that school. Last year I had four different Spanish teachers resulting in a failure of that class at the end of the year because nobody bothered to keep a lesson going for more than a day or two. The kids are often sent out of class for beyond unnecessary reasons, and given referrals for raising their hand and asking a question, which is cruel because isn't that taking away from a child's education? Being sent out of class four times a week? The cafeteria food is beyond disgusting. The fact that I can pull a strand of hair out of each item of my food is concerning, ignoring the fact that most of the time your food is either stolen or thrown away. And it's sad that I could type so much more but the simple fact that for one, nobody would do anything about this. And two, we'd be here for a long time if i went on. But for now please take this as a notice and think before sending your child here.
